2 new plug-ins for the UA Software

Universal Audio released version 1.7 of its UA Software, which adds two new plug-ins, including the reproduction of the RMX16 reverb.

The AMS RMX16 reverb plug-in was developed by Universal Audio in collaboration with Mark Cabtree, the designer of the original digital hardware unit at AMS Neve. You’ll find the genuine delay and reverb algorithms, as well as Dry/Wet mic, Wet Solo controls and a “click-and-type” value editing feature.

The AMS RMX16 Digital Reverb for UAD-2 and Apollo is available for $349.

Update 7.10 of the UA Software also adds the virtual reproduction of the Summit Audio TLA-100A soft-knee compressor, which allows for parallel compression thanks a a Wet/Dry control. A saturation and low-cut filter are also included. This plug-in can be purchased for $199.
