I plan on mostly sampling and at most keeping songs to 3 - 4 tracks max. The only real instrument I will be usuing is a guitar and I will use a keyboard to record drums and any other instruments I will need. Thanks for your reply. Screen sie doesn't matter to me either

IMHO centrino is really the worst processor for audio recording software,
but since you're working with 3-4 track projects, you'll be just fine.
