Knufi SIR [Freeware]

The installation is very simple wish. We just copied the DLL file in the rpertoir VST Plug-ins and it's almost gone.
Indeed that provides Knufi friend is just a plug-in that will work only with impulse files to wav format. So after all of the pulse depends files you have available.

ADQUATION / PERFORMANCE

So performance may vary depending on the wholesale pulses files is like Acoustic Mirror Sonic Fondry.
And we must mfier. This plug-in food processor as it is not allowed and this is even more true if the pulse is long (10 seconds).
For my part I almost used this plug-ins for reverbs but dla 4 reverbs diffrentes in a project and with a large enough latency (yet with 1 GB of ram and an AMD 2600+ processor) My PC can fight especially if I use Ozone 3 and some Amplitubes in the same time.

NOTICE GLOBAL

Basically I find this plug gnial if the pulses is of great quality. Can be found on the website pulses www.noivevault.com
It is believed almost use some reverb high ranges that have been in the final implusions.
Plug-ins free + free = reverb impulses of quality free provided you have the right PC to run it all as it should be.
A test eyes closed, especially when the stock market is limited.

No Pb to install, after you have to load the silly impulses with real machines or rooms
It works from hell and immediately

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

On a PIV 2.4 G, 512 MB ca runs like clockwork, I turned 4 at the same time.
As against from time to time with Nuendo2, I have BIG digital plays, about 0.5s pitched noise, I think it comes from the plug ... So a test before long the use in live ... and why not put a limiter behind SIR

OVERALL OPINION

It's absolutely monstrous, for me it's the best software reverb I tested, the whole is to have beautiful impulse
On taking a vote, with one impulse of true room taken at different positions, we really feel like making a voice ds real room to the real place with a couple very pretty nice (the auditorium absolute test of 350 places findable on www.noisevault.com)
I know quite well the PCM90, and I confess that it is the true sound of the PCM, it works from hell ...
In conclusion, I know no better, apart from the fact of not being able to adjust settings like on a real machine, it's great ...

Implementation? Without any problem, it is impeccable! At the same time, it's just a plug-in ...

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The software runs beautifully, with a copy of stability ... Great art! BUT: do not question directly. There is a latency, and eats lots of CPU SIR. For example, on a P4 2.4 GHz (Hyper-threading), on large projects 50/60 tracks, after a half-dozen SIR, the processor galre. And there is the latency ... That automatically compensates for Cubase SX, so no problem for the models. In fact, nothing really rdhibitoire intensive use.

OVERALL OPINION

SIR IS A PLUG-IN SPECIAL: rverbs excellent, the HP meillleur simulator, effects cratifs ... A rvolution or a rvlation! Believe me, do not miss this new breed of fawn all "filter spatializing", whether a space rel, a vintage speaker, is an abstract space with software ... J'apprcie especially the quality of the pulses' js speaker "(HP simulator / Guitar Amp) and" KSP-8 "(Rverbs numriques" mules ", that is - say "aspire" to perfection, which some rvle ambiguts legal). They are easily Noise Vault Submitted or from the links on the site of CRS. A MUST !!!!!

It's not for nothing that "convolution" rhymes with "rvolution" ...

Seeking good convolutions (including www.noisevault.com), this plug-in ets vritable a killing.
Excellencies for rverbrations natural, the best simulations of HP possible effects spciaux trs ... spciaux! Convolutions of everything and nothing (compressors, more or pramplis ,...) moisn convincing ...

Features very useful (even if dbrouille Waves is better but it's also 600 more expensive!)

Note that this program VST ets Knufinke Christian, who also works for Wizzo and to whom I have great respect trs!

There should be a version without latency for a long time but it is now!
