Analog Rack including chorus, flanger, doubler and a delay modulation.

It has two inputs with level control: a "line" and "line / mic" input (you choose the type pulling the knob) input, both inputs go through a corrective tone adjustable (small filter to accentuate bass or treble, pretty cool). It selects the effect using a rotary switch (this is where we also bypass) and each effect is controlled by the same four buttons: time, speed, width, regen.

For "time" is the time delay. It goes to the very short time by short (no more than a few seconds and saw to nose)
The "speed" is the speed of modulation (which is kind of slow a bit less than 1 Hz up to a dozen), the "width" is the amplitude modulation (which is not very far either more).
As for the "regen" is neither more nor less than the feedback (possibility of feedback or no feedback system, quite interesting by the way). The feedback is used for both the delay and the time for the flanger.

There is a "blend" button that corresponds to the mix between dry and wet, there is the mixed output and dry output and an input for a pedal that activates the remote effect, quite handy.

UTILIZATION

The module is very easy to use, no need to be a genius to be able to find the sound you desire.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are fun. The chorus is runny, the delay is ... analog flanger is a bit disgusting, the doubling is a little dirty ... I am a big fan.
Overall, the unit will not close in the effect parameters, but at the same time it goes far enough to make it funny.

I do not know what to put as a note. If it were up to me I will put 15 of 10 ...
I bought this ... thing ... to a friend for a bite of bread, and when I plugged it I spent two hours at tampering in any way with my Dark Energy: a pure delight.

This stuff is old: he feels old, it tastes old, it sounds old ... and it's pretty awesome.
It is full of defects: bandwith is poor, the effects are anything but clean, the unit is at odds with accurate and current effects too perfect, but it has that je ne sais quoi of attracting this analog warmth, this gain inimitable you turn most any chirping sounds in the peculiar flavor, a little shaky, a little risky ...

Frankly, I am a huge fan of that unit is present. If you are looking for a beautiful chorus or delay owl, go your way. But if you are looking for hot chocolate + marshmallow then made a hug this little device and plug it, you will not regret it.

SOUND QUALITY

My favorite time of the genre, right next to the Yamaha E1010,. Precise and ample dark at once.

I have two, one used mainly on synths, an insert, the other on the auxiliary table
despite the lack of treble, it adds something to the same high an organ, piano, and of course the voice. I can not speak guitar but I think it's still a bit ^ m out for that.
On the bridge pickup of my bass (Rickenbacker4001: acute mic> 1 output / mic serious> 1out): it moves net, animated severe.
I found listening to a little mono synth to tilt one, the guy had plugged the delay but it was "normal", not understand, no effect and suddenly he routed mode on "delay" and there, O my brothers I got a slap my ears reddened. OVERALL OPINION

I had a lot of delays and chorus analos flanges, and this one stands out for me. The Mic / instrument works well with line level range input gain is calibrated. I never had a scratch on the knobs.
You do again this choice?

UTILIZATION

many parameters. everything at hand. Input and output jacks on the front. (Nothing back)

This is mic and instrument, for the best possible sound with a synth, consider putting an ID or an adapter type "shure a15a" input.
Output level weakling! but very few blows out so we can amplify it without problem.

SOUND QUALITY

delay is particularly dull (more than a space echo). When we add clarity to the tone knob, AC adds harmonic distortion. This is vintage very friendly to handle.
The feedback has an output limiter, which is convenient because that avoids the feedback loop does not saturate (big plus compared to a space echo or AC gets too dirty past few loops, from my point of view).
Feedback is modulated via an LFO sine that can be played on the amplitude and speed = can give life to the delay! fx guaranteed

The knobs are logical, well-chosen values, in particular feedback (regeneration) who goes on a self-oscillation only limit on the knob. The velocity modulation is itself against too squished on the limit of the knob.
The construction is top notch, I got mine with a few cosmetic defects (presumably shocks), but no knob crackles nor does this abnormal resistance, no loose connection. It's really tough as we do not see anymore unfortunately.

The flanger can go into self-oscillation! attention to the tweeters ..........

OVERALL OPINION

super multi-effect, I use it for its delay with analog synths and this is really great. I sold my space echo! (Too much maintenance and much less precise ...).

Super-simple configuration
5-edition via knobs; gafe to do with the "regeant" especially with the delay, otherwise it can quickly go on a testicle, but mastering it is too good ...

Effects-effective, it sounds (after I am no expert)
I use it on my guitar, especially for the delay, but sometimes I stick it in the ass of the mixing desk, and also it's been his office.
-The flange and chorus are good, the Doubling is really "trip", even funny, my prefer is of course the delay.on can vary the speed in real time, and it can give great envolles (attention rglage to the "regeant" or else watch the ears ... "regeant" = feedback, and it is really long ...

-I have a HeadRush, and I test the models boss.
I'd buy a guy who said "do not know how to use "(???!!!!???). 100 euros ... it apparently not on silent AF ... so good value quality / price ...
I think if it falls in the road I will do everything to restore even though it has cost me the price of a new one!

OVERALL OPINION

Between a mic

The sound of the delay is really super nice.
It is very vintage, warm and not transparent.

Use a very special and I found j'aprecie is to delay the time (or doubling) at least the minimum feedback, the tone almost to max and "blend" max.
Thus we hear the sound line and not the direct sound, it will feel to play through a kind of filter (albeit with a small latency time of delay that even at the minimum is a very sensitive ) that colors the sound and makes it very vintage, I love to restore a soul samples (Rhodes and organ, for example). As against this, it lost the momentum, so for the guitars this method does not work very well.

The delay also walking and obviously great for traditional applications.
Note that apart from being shorter, Doubling a lighter color than the delay.

Overall I love this machine.
Too bad the delay can not go beyond the 400 ms.
