MIDAS and KLARK TEKNIK took part for implementation support. The programmable mic preamps found in the X32 are based on a MIDAS design, down to their A/D converters. The resulting design is supposed to ensure “common mode rejection” (CMRR) and “low harmonic distortion” (THD), according to Behringer.
The X32 has the capacity to handle up to 168 sources on 168 destinations, including the two AES50 ports.
