[NAMM] New Midas M32 mixers

Last year, Midas introduced the large M32 mixing console. They are debuting this year at NAMM two new smaller models.

The M32 family now includes a more compact console for touring and small studios (or large home studios), the M32R and the rackable M32C mixer.

Details of the M32R console:

  • 40 simultaneous inputs, including 16 Midas Pro mic preamps
  • 17 Midas Pro 100mm motorized faders
  • 25 mix busses
  • 8 DCA and 6 Mute groups
  • 8 digital effect processors
  • 5” TFT color display
  • 192 kHz AD/DA  converters
  • 40-bit floating internal digital processing
  • Open architecture that will allow for 96 kHz operation
  • AES50 networking with support for up to 96 inputs and outputs
  • USB 2.0 audio interface with support for 32 channels and Mackie Control and HUI protocoles
  • Optional wireless control with the Midas apps for iPhone and iPad
  • Designed by Bentley Motors
  • Aluminum frame with rack option

If your entire setup sits in racks, Midas also offers the M32C:

  • MIDI input and output for scene recall and external MIDI device control

US pricing announced is $2,999 for the M32R and $999 for the M32C.
