UTILIZATION
The configuration is very well thought.
Everything is provided for understanding the architecture. I had (and I still sometimes) a little trouble with the routing numrique but who am incrimination.
I have not read the manual because by walking through all the menus mthodiquement you understand everything. But I had the exprience of O2R.
SOUNDS
The converters are transparent.
The new plug-in are well incorporated and especially reverbs (including platform) much heavier than the old ones. The EQ may be a little LGERS.
Compressors are transparent (so it can also sometimes criticized) and work really well.
OVERALL OPINION
Bought a month ago for rpter and small concerts, I also used to record. I had one for years O2R with whom I got along well! I recorded a lot and mix with and I sold it because with a G5 and plugs in good quality (UAD among others) it was no longer justified. In the era I did not like the 01v that sounded bad all levels (pramplis, compressors, EQs, which did not sound). I am impressed and a little come a long way and sounds better than dsormais O2R of the era. It's a real rgal of rpter with this small console trs damn good. For just over Euro 2000 is simply INESPRE to have such a comfort.
For me the only choice now in this price range.
20/05/2011 edit. I use it now with octomic II RME gives me 8 pramplis high quality and more connected adat! I am always so happy!
