Published on 04/28/11 at 00:37I do not return the technical specs, detailed many times here and elsewhere.
Plastoc aspect of the craft, tiny screen, limited connectivity (no XLR)
UTILIZATION
As read in a review below, I also susi facing this type of recorder after 2 years of semi satisfaction on a Mac configuration + external sound card (Presonus Line6 then) Because latency, various crash and especially very mobile.
Playing guitar and bass + need to record a voice temsp to others, while mobile, the idea was to make it simple ... I was so construed and briefed on the BR600 to get an idea of its capabilities, possibly before buying one ...
SOUNDS
First disappointment: the sounds of the drum machine are dated super, like "Poum tchak" bar of yesteryear ... Now I really regret loops available for Mac! I made several attempts to correct the situation leaving on bass amp and guitar sound then, but nothing to do!
Second disappointment: guitar and bass effects are frankly not terrible: one or two nice effects, other Suck, ultra dated actually. This is also the criticism that I would do the BR600: he could do the job at its output (when in fact?) But now it is less certain ...
Regarding records, no particular concern, it is simply what is asked, with a view (widely shared) storage limit.
OVERALL OPINION
I découvers the world of digital recorders by BR600, so my opinion is biased in two words:
- AB 600 is already in the past (I am surprised to see its price OCCAZ largely overvalued), although it can still be of service (I sometimes use guitar effects, but why there is better bcp )
- Non-progressive, I do not intend to buy a BR600, this would be money lost because this machine will store, in my opinion, not long ...
