Published on 10/06/11 at 15:06The 8 canaus input with phantom power supplies 6: the dream for a portable device.
I use it as an interface for mobile studio, combined with Cubase on a Macbook.
I associate exclusively with microphones for live recording overhead.
No major concern with six simultaneous tracks for phantom power supply (entries 3-8).
A latency of 0.5 seconds is noticeable when taken with a recorded track.
Simple installation, the interface is seen as the installation of related software.
A - however, noted recently: audio interface does not like being fed independently with the AC adapter supplied: this scenario generates saturation for each input (the crackling). This problem disappears when I leave the USB input power interface (from a Macbook itself on sector).
Knowing circumvent the problem on my installations, the equipment is easy to use and easy to implement. Especially easy to transport into a mobile studio.
I am very satisfied with the quality / price ratio.
