Dbx® Professional Products introduces the new DriveRack® PX Powered Speaker Optimizer, the latest in the dbx DriveRack family of products.
Utilizing the DriveRack technology, the new PX is designed to enhance and optimize the performance of powered speakers. Although powered speakers by definition require no amplifier or external processor, the DriveRack PX hosts a number of features that, said by dbx, offer louder, cleaner and better sound.
An included dbx M2 measurement mic uses Auto-EQ to correct for audible deficiencies in the room environment. dbx’s Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS™) kills harsh feedback, the Subharmonic Synthesizer extends bass response for enhanced bottom end and the PeakStopPlus™ Limiting protects the speakers.
Other included features increase out-of-box support for a host of JBL® and other popular powered speaker brands and models and support for either stereo or mono subwoofer models. The Auto-EQ and AFS Wizards make setup easy and fast.
The dbx DriveRack PX is available in March at an estimated street price of $399.95.
