Well, I have this thing for 3 years I believe, and what a disappointment to find that is autistic.
One cannot control anything, without using a computer (which will crash anyway, as usual). An AudioFan wrote to support and here's the answer:

This is distressing, for the price of failing to put two miserable MIDI jacks!

In addition they should still have even put in an audio input mini-jack, but it was too expensive I guess ...

UTILIZATION

Furthermore it is painful to use, you set the reverb to a sound, you switch back and hop sound and the reverb is default NULL ...
I mean not even the sequencer is zero progress in 15 years from them.

I feel that anti-user interface dates from the Cromagnon era, and it actually cools cravings.

SOUNDS

Here it is really improving! the sounds are nice and some are very realistic, a good feeling every time.
The amplification system retained, albeit small on paper, is excellent and the stereo out very well (gap obliges speakers). That is why I wish I could plug in my CD player for example, given the cost of the dgx ...

Something still bugs me every time is that they have not been even able to equalize the sound in relation to each other so hello ears at some changes.

Directly related to the quality of sound is that of touching the keyboard, for me the good resistance (more than one but less privia clavinova). It seems against unsuitable for a quick game (do not care, am not a pianist!).

OVERALL OPINION

Globally and especially for the price, a disaster. Yamaha has stolen my money on this one, I will next time gaffe.
And it will certainly be soon, the dgx taps me on the system seriously, and another manufacturer, who knows what ergonomics and ease of use means.

I enjoyed the sequencer mode and lesson to introduce my grandchildren.
Very good price / quality ratio.

UTILIZATION

Setup is simple as with any electronic instrument panel a little change we must get used to the interface but no big problem.
Linking with a sequencer is very simple (requires a driver supplied)
Functions in general are too driven to Mount taste but the bottom line is there and given the price is already very good.
A touch is enough to switch back to digital piano "live grand piano"
The style is pretty focntion also search for song on line agreements with a preformatted orchesatration.
"The arranger" when he was only allowed to change the two main voices of a MIDI file (sustain duet chorus volume greened etc. ..) the other one can not make them dumb at best.
It is problematic when one wants to use a non-standard midi file into a lesson, but I think by changing it into a sequencer should be able to correct it otherwise there is an app that adjusts the non-standard files to the standard SMF and XF but expensive (70 €).
The manual is correct, illustrated but not very detailed.
In summary this keyboard is quite simple to use.

500 sounds it leaves something to be
the sounds seem not too bad but it's quite variable from one instrument to another instrument in general the wind has a sound better than the string "live big" however sounds great (the voice "live string orchestra "is really not bad too).
We can split the keyboard for, unwanted by two votes, so even define the split point can be added to the effect on voice also.
The term satisfies me but again I have nothing to compare.

OVERALL OPINION

Versatile functionality and value / quality / price
I do not know if it's worth it to buy it as a simple digital piano is better to have utility at least a few additional features it offers.
Anyway I am not disappointed with this purchase for now.
I just regret that lack of features on the pseudo arranger.

Hello first 88 notes in it so the extent of about 500 piano sounds very realistic you can plug a USB drive or a USB host computer in there with a headphone jack, sustain output

I've had two short weeks and I also acts as the arranger for the price that is Not too much went fait.Je tried other models such as Casio wk8000 the clp 220, the YDP-131, in p70 scotto music but in Marseille at the money DGX 620 is top notch! In addition to this store have the promo on their site at € 850 with headphones offered a + usb is amazing! So I dived and I'm delighted to thank you yamaha this little gem!

. 500 sounds very good quality, served by HP internal damn effective (which give the piano important dimensions, but at the cost of reproduction quality, the stereo imaging is really suitable for home).

. Very realistic touch (the same as the Clavinova low / mid range please!)
. Large backlit display summarizing all the information (sounds, rhythms, split ...)
. PM: not tested
. Manual: very clear and accessible to beginners
. sequencer: 5 tracks + 1 pace. Easy to use (but not editable step).
In short, not difficult to navigate.

SOUNDS

The 500 sounds and amplification are really up to much more expensive keyboards (kawai ES4, Roland FP2 / 5 ...).
NB: rhodes piano type exceptional expressiveness.

OVERALL OPINION

Basically, I wanted a digital piano, still sounds in Spartan (20 max). But given the price of the DGX620 and the multitude of possibilities (500 sounds, rhythms, and even arranger or music lessons for those who want to launch ...), the stand provided more ... For those looking for a piano without the fuss (I turn it on and I play without using a PC, an expander, or whatnot), with all the sounds you could possibly need, the DGX620 is made for you.

The sounds are not editable, the sequencer either, but frankly it helps the music rather than technique, and there's still a big advantage that is often overlooked when it plunged into the hell of docs and programming ...

Good piano touch and very good piano sound for this price range.
The other presets are correct without being on top.
The sequencer is a gadget can with 5 tracks (one for support) that are not editable (no mixer) In addition to not dub over the slopes.

OVERALL OPINION

Possessing a Korg Triton and a sequencer on a PC I use mainly the sound of the grand piano ... The rest is not too much interest (still in my opinion)
But being realistic, hard to find a keyboard on the market with such a great touch and such a good piano sound in this price range.
In addition it has a few functions that can satisfairent arranger musicians undemanding.

The keyboard has 88 keys, touch Grade Hammer Standard (GHS) (mid-range level CVP). Trs good touch but do not confuse graduated, he has a heavy touch but not touching a hammer.

139 usable sounds, the other (up to 500) are the sounds that are not XGlite good quality.

There are 150 e rhythm, you get tired quickly but they are well done.

There is no MIDI, unfortunately elsewhere. A USB port to connect a cl (think of having a usb extension cord because the plug is derrire ...).
Another USB port to plug the computer (MIDI & file transfer), l also think that having Cables not included ...

It comes with the pedals of expression in 6.3mm jack.

The headphone jack and OUT are the same and both derrires, not practical at all.

The key is enjoyable from the trs synthtiseur the low end I had.

The menu is trs done wrong ... All is in the same menu ... Imagine.

Styles are of good quality with: intro, coda and variation (same button on el, not practical either)

The sounds are of good quality as Yamaha, when same ^ ^
The touch is good, the menu you can select the sensitivity.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several weeks.

Its weaknesses are the menu, the headphone / line derrire identical, the USB derrire single button and change (instead of the button changes A and B). A USSI the notch being protected enough.!
