«  Excellent value for money »

Best value: Excellent
88-key keyboard. Many sounds and editable effects. Can connect usb midi sequences for reading (only 1 track) and play wav file. Some non-editable drum patterns and non-recordable noon. Fc3 pedal. no desk.

UTILIZATION

The keyboard is very powerful. Touch of a real piano. The setup is a little complex at first but the manual is clear (manual + 2 pdf files). It is impossible to record even more tracks via a computer containing different sounds. Only 1 or 2 tracks on the same channel in split mode.

SOUNDS

The sounds are excellent. The acoustic piano is different from the usual piano Yamaha somewhat synthetic or too bright after calibration velocities (in this price range). Here we are close to a real acoustic piano with its subtleties and in particular the possibility to qualify easily. Resonance (superb) and the depth of the sustain pedal is editable. However, it lacks the resonance of the strings out of sympathy. But this criterion is not really useful for a stage piano which is looking more to eliminate small residual noise and sound that pollute more than they bedecked. Having had the opportunity to test a Northern piano (with sympathetic resonances), it is true that the piano sound is stunning on first listen but they get tired quickly because too pure and crystalline.
Other sounds of Yamaha are up to, including electric piano and strings.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this piano for 3 weeks and although it is far from a real acoustic piano, it gives me great pleasure. I had a P140 before that that brought me disappointment. (Same for the P155 Roland FP7 or I could try).
Too bad he's only two multi-timbral sounds and we have no access to the kits to save battery sequences.
I recommend this keyboard.
