UTILIZATION
Editing sounds is easy and logical enough, despite its small screen.
SOUNDS
For an "old" synth it still in the womb. Sounds like pads, tablecloths, lead, FX, are absolutely gorgeous! Compared to my current machines, such as Jupiter or Motif XF-80, it has absolutely no QS6 a blush at the synthetic sounds, it sounds warm and fat, he has a short made in the U.S. and the difference is well feel in relation to the Japanese machines (which I do not criticize). The effects are also very good.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought this Alesis QS6 used in new condition. This synth was younger I was always attracted, now I understand why ... It is a construction and an exemplary finish, like the Jupiter-80. This QS6 is very reliable and its design is quite original. For my part, if not exceeded its characteristics, such as screen or editing, this synth does not suffer criticism. It's almost a vintage but it sounds so good that I could not separate myself.
