E-MU PK-6
Published on 12/12/03 at 15:00I bought the Pk-6 at the guitar center. I was just out shopping for some new sounds and loved the pk-6 after trying it out. I paid close to $700 a year and a half back.
I like the rich sounds, and how they can be changed to whatever you got in your head.
The arpeggiator is a headache to work with, and that's about it, not much I dislike about the unit.
I don't uunderstand the question.
Overall, I love working with the pk-6, so far out of all the gear I got, I use the pk-6 the most.

Acoustic piano: not bad
EP, Rhodes, wurly: beautiful and expressive (especially with vintage synth card that I added)
synth: super
organs: Varis and trs fine. There is something for every taste ...
low: low tech trs are good. Little or no acoustic bass valid
Pad: beautiful but often not very usable
Rhythms, percussions: spcial RnB and techno and electro ... l c foot
Guitar: little but not bad
If you funk or modern music, the synth will delight you ... for acoustic instruments, look elsewhere ... but for the price ... it's a bomb
OVERALL OPINION
I've had four months and I discover every day things on it ... the possibilities are cratives standards. Emu manufactures do more and reliability of the machine does not look necessarily good because I already had to change a button (must be a MODEL manufactured on a Monday morning ... lol) but I do not regret my purchase at all.
For my group, the synth c IDAL (Rhodes, Wurly, organ, synth lead excellent) ... but it lacks a squenceur into a super workstation
Too bad the synth Emu arrested because I love the E-mu
SUPER quality over price (600 euros acht synth with vintage synth card)See less81
