UTILIZATION
I do not have the manual. And I gladly pass. I used the M1 and T3. I also used a time Wavestation. We find downright logic Korg. The page order, the parameters ... The touch screen is OK. This is my first synth with such an interface, so it's nice to priori. I stopped for 90 years in terms of new gear. From 90-2000 years, I have bought or bartered as used gear. So my opinion on the Trinity and the programming mode is a little offbeat.
SOUNDS
We find again the spirit Korg: it is even questionable whether the samples M1 and T series have not been reinstated, among others ... It is possible that this is close to 01W, but I can not comment, I've never had this model. The difference is the resolution: 48 kHz, and that means very much. The sound is very crystalline, medium less than previous models, at least this is the perception I have. The realism of imitative sounds better, of course, but without interest. Personally, I turn towards synthetic waves, and filters, and finally resonant! well this "fact". I went to a bank of sounds found on the net: "access". Terrible, real synth sounds. I use this keyboard in a melodic power metal band, so feel rather "classical-symphonic" on Manigance or Stratovarius. The Trinity is the highly job. As usual with Korg sound has its place in the mix, through well, without interfering or overflow. Naturally, it is surrounded (racks and other keyboards). The sound palette is rich and consistent. Side "more" embedded in the beast Prophecy. Although significant, I who had the Prophecy in question, I am very happy to find it. With the touch screen, it is much easier to program, even though we lost a few knobs that dueling ...
OVERALL OPINION
I'm really comfortable with this synth. The HD player was replaced with a USB drive. OK, but beware, each key is formatted with a volume of 1.44 megabytes, such as floppies!! And it fills up fast, believe me ...
The sequencer, I do not know: I use a laptop on stage with FL9 as centralization noon.
This is not a "transcendent" keyboard, but it holds great sound spectrum and its use soon proved very musical. And it shows very good surprises and excellent behavior in purely synthetic sounds. What a real synth ...
If I keep it, I will try to find him MOSS extension that adds the Z1.
