How would you rate the quality / price? The value of this product is pretty good with the price that it is, I do wish it was a little cheaper though. But it holds up really well and can take some wear and tear. It has a color LCD display that is about 6 inches big, with a screen like that it will no longer be hard for your to make your song picks. The quantize mode on the CDJ 2000 is one of the best that I have used. It will quantize when you are using loops and it will do it automatically and very accurately. You can also save all of your settings the way that you like them, this comes in handy so that when you power on your CDJ 2000 all of your personal preferences are saved so you don’t have to set anything up. I own a pair of these now and will now sell my other similar models because I found the one that I really like using and feel comfortable with the most. I do several live gigs a week with the CDJ 2000 and the size of the screen has really spoiled me, it is very bright and easy to see and read the WAV’s on what you are doing. This is very important to me when in a live setting because it is always so dark. Hats off to the CDJ2000, it is truly one of a kind, you must try it out!

Here more than a year that I use and I can not do without! I had CDJ 400 I just resell. I could also test the cdj800/850 and 1000.

The big advantage over its predecessors is the link! I currently play with a 1TB external hard drive (formatted in FAT 32). The self loops are perfect, or almost. The "search" is handy!

One disadvantage (of many readers), when a USB device is defective, the reader reads it anyway, but hung in the middle of music!
When playing songs on USB that have not been analyzed by rekordbox, the bpm and the "wave line" put in time to appear, but ... the ear is here!

Unfortunately the CDJ2000 are very expensive. If I had to make a choice, I repeat them leave to wait a bit!

I have been a wonderful two mois.Je mixais on CDJ 400 before (super decks anyway! But it was time to move to the next level.
With these decks are a lot of bootlegs galore, perfect curls with rekordbox, bpm instant high-speed USB, hot cues pre-register via rekordbox, ultra-precise jog, Link ..
And what about the look! The CDJ2000 is beautiful on, beautiful color display, illuminated jog ..
We do what we want with these drives, and if in addition we have a DJM 900 or 2000 I even talking about the possibilities! (Live sampler for example)

I spent a whole night with 2 CDJ 2000 at a student party in a nightclub that came to buy them.

I have at home two CDJ 200, nothing to see, and evening is the CDJ 800 or 1000, the level above.

What is striking when one sees is an imposing presence that emerges: bigger, taller, wider than the 1000, they are huge beasts that seem to swallow a CD with ease.
Ignition: the screen lights up, all features appear ... the possibilities seem endless (see website Pioneer). For my part I only used the main function: CD playback.
The dial is very, very big, and the light that surrounds (and flashes when the track ends, nice detail) is too light for my taste.
The wheel next to the screen is handy for quickly looking in the files subfolder ...

The very nice feature is that it can read everything: USB, MP3, DVD, CD, she swallows everything without flinching. Added to all that the technical characteristics of 1000, which was already at the top ... So the 2000 really has it all. After I'm not certain that all users operate at 100% capacity ...

What I like least: in a nightclub, not much ... after half an hour tinkering with the buttons was a good overview of its capabilities, so the grip is almost immediate. The ribbon of light that surrounds the jog, perhaps? And yet, it's history of criticizing ... design a bit imposing ... and the obligation to redeem a fly with good size ... otherwise not much negative.

Pioneer is, so it's good, cheap and reliable ... Know what you want ...

If ever I had to buy bigger, I'd take the 800 or even 1000. It is useless to have full function if not in use.

* I have the pleasure of owning a pair of CDJ 2000 since July 2010 (with a mixer, a DJM 800 and headphones HDJ 2000).

* I was not interested in other models that the CDJ 2000; before buying, I spent hours and hours to find out about this new stage, notably by means of view, watching videos test (not just presentations Pioneer).

* The CDJ 2000 pushes the limits of comfort that we offered the 1000 MK3. The screen is beautiful (its luminosity is such that it is set to 3 of 5 by default, which is already good enough).
- The Hot Cue buttons, Hot Loop is actually larger, more pleasant to the touch.
- The deck is actually very precise, we have the decimal for BPM (updated) and the frames for the movement of the music.
- The USB is a great advantage, at first I did was test "just to see what it gave. But I very quickly realized that it really is very convenient: I have a 16GB USB key which I created my playlist, the waveform will appear instantly once the pieces analyzed rekorbox, same for the bpm you can also record the song, assign an image (cover).
- Navigation is very fast, when I plug in my key, I have access to pieces in 3 seconds, not counting the "Search" that allows you to find the title or the song you search letter by letter through the touch (watch the pieces must not only have been copied pasted the key, it must also be analyzed rekorbox). In animation I have therefore a key 16GB of my 750GB external hard drive, fly from my cd, the mix is reinvented as everything is falling into the hands immediately.

- The button for loops 4 time is a good innovation.

* So far I have no reproaches to the plate (instead!), I like everything, if a fault occurs then I will publish this review.

* In terms of value for money, I can not allow myself to say it is very good because the purchase of a turntable is a certain amount € 1,799 on average in France, and I might kill me = ) So I reasoned differently by saying that yes, these plates are not cheap but the investment worth it for those who like mixing in ideal conditions, access to their titles in less than two and manage their music from A to Z, in short have fun!

I followed the evolution of the CD since about 1995 with the first players to dish Technics (10,000 francs apiece already at the time), then the dual player Denon DN-2000, CDJ 500, Tascam CD302, CDJ 800 Mk2 CDJ CDJ 1000 and now 2000.

Most of this product is no longer need a PC in the evening. Tired of giving the impression that the PC mix.
I take a lot more fun to mix without a PC rather than using a powerful application software as it is ... even with a command noon.
Have fun is a priority when you are passionate, softwares make the same service, but much is lost in pleasure.
My only fear is that Pioneer does not play the game updates and prefers to pull out a MK2. Pioneer needs to align its business strategy with other vendors solutions hard / soft as Traktor and suggest updates that keep the proceeds in the coup ... Otherwise it will be worth the blow to follow.
