What is the particular feature you like best and least?

+: For its size it makes a lot of things and then jogs despite their size are very responsive and the scratch is fun above
-: A little cheap, lots of plastic but it is not very serious

How would you rate the quality / price?

at the time it cost me € 249 now it is even cheaper so I would say interesting.

With experience, you do again this choice?

Yes, because I have not been disappointed with but I think in hindsight I would have at least tried other controllers.

Used happily for almost one year before the problems begin.

I also tried the Denon. Than regret not having chosen this brand today.

My probème concerns the crossfader is worn by Mixvibes while I do've never used! Regardless, a HS cross, I do not care because I do not use it. The concern is that it moves by itself randomly, so impossible to put this service *** controller ... Trying to educate myself on this issue, I realized that there were dozens of forum topic Mixvibes ... So I'm not the only one.

I'm back on the machine at my dealer after 6 months of waiting I was informed that Mixvibes did not guarantee cross (hey it may seem normal) and mostly they did not have spare parts . Very risen too, my dealer (store sound that I will not mention) has vowed never to sell this brand and referring clients to other better built products (not hard) and especially with true distributor.

Today, I hesitate to fuck the window knowing that it will never work.

I acquisition this little machine environment Octobe 2012 and therefore one can use it for more than nine months.

I try to hercules mixer MP3e2 four months before. this is the day and night. if this is a real toy in my eyes, the U-mix behaves professionally.

My preferences (most and least)

what I love most and responsiveness of the machine facing the computer. The software is provided (Cross DJ) and does so complete it's it's a real plus.

integrated sound card, no need to take the head with a USB sound card low end for a headphone back.

strength, metal base, a guarantee of quality.

what I like least:

buttons can a little, but for the price, I ask for the moon either.

the effects of freeze when you do a search in one piece with the jog.
in that the output 3/4 = PFL headphone. but after checking the forum, I now know that this is normal and I know the workaround.

overweight, but I quibble, because as I said earlier, it is solid and therefore pro.

the quality / price is right. have a machine of this quality at a lower price it is impossible. especially since I buy a Hi-Fi general store and not a specialty store DJ.


being new to the mix, I would do this choice without hesitation. but in the years to come, after I advanced, I think is to guide me to be the pioneer of Numark NS7 really tempting me.

(Edit: I put this advice to start the U-Mix Control Pro 2, it was obviously a mistake.
since, to enlarge the possibility of mix, I paired it with a controller and a Korg NANOPAD2 NANOKEY2)

I have since last October. I use it as a controller in its own right but also for 3 months with two turntables in timecode.

Before I had a Hercules DJ Console MK2, and I wanted something bigger and with more features.

Pros:
-We fully control the functions "essential" software, such loops, cues, effects, titles loaded. The more esoteric functions (beatgrids etc.) do not have keys assigned, but in my opinion not need shortcut on the controller, we saw changes (very) rarely settings.
-The onboard sound is good (better, no surprise that one of Hercules). The output level is slightly lower than with a CD player, but nothing nasty. I compared at a party with a CDJ 1000mk3. I put a CD into the CDJ engraved with an mp3 and loaded exactly the same mp3 file on cross DJ. The CDJ-mix and U were each connected to one input of a DJM 800 To get sound at the same level at the output of the speakers had to leave the gain of the path of CDJ set to 0 and that of the path U-mix on 1:00.
-It can be used as sound card for timecode (what I do). It responds well, and I for one am 10ms latency with a PC that will be 5 years (with a Core 2 Duo Acer 2GB and 2GB of RAM with Windows 7). I find it honorable. I did not crack nor any lag problem of the software.
Placed on a laptop stand at Thomann just above my mixer, it profits me midi controller.
-The controller has a "certain weight": frame construction with sheet metal. The jogs are well mounted, there is no play, or sailing. They can be found a little light at first, but given their size is normal.
-The knobs are nice, they are a "notch" on the EQ knobs when they are at 0.

Cons:
-The only (small) defect is that it's almost a little bit, and jogs a little bigger and a pitch slider a little longer it would be a must, but it would also be more expensive and less convenient to lug we do it for free!
Size is however not a problem, it is even possible to calibrate the sound to the ear without using nila sync feature or function match, only the pitch slider and jogs.

The price / quality ratio is very good for me, I would do without hesitation that choice!

Small point: the channel faders are not "smooth" as would a crossfader, they have a slight resistance to movement. We like it or not, matter of taste!

I have for about a year (shortly after its release).

Up against a sense of all notices and especially without Traktor mix, it seemed a bit irresponsible of the € 300 slammed into it! Anyway I bought it.

The deck is great features are well thought out and there is no fiddling with gadgets that 3 times in the life of the device. The plate is flexible it can be add in timecode vinyl turntables. For cross against a DJ was very blah its release, I immediately wanted to spend on traktor but the plate was not really made for ...

Then version 1.7 was released ... and everything is perfect. Cross dj not be ashamed to face and other regular updates still offer more functionality.

I would do without this choice problem

I was looking for an all in one tool for mixing mp3's (I slow down the vinyl it costs me too much), I bought this summer this small Platoche brand mixvibes. I did not know before then necessarily JJE freaking a little down on a plastic toy like the Hercules who bought on the net. In the end, pretty happy, the wheels are very accurate and solid (no game), the knobs are well thought out and everything is balanced, not like the vestax vci100 I've seen in a mate.
well i like the fact that the button is lit because we see direct what is on and what is not. Sound card does not stumble and everything is fluid, what more.

For one week, one month now.

I tried the VCI 100, traktor S4, but it is far too expensive and too big for someone like me who prefers mobility.

Goodies: dedicated to mixvibes I use the past 7 years ... rhaa loyalty is beautiful! Compact. The system of loops and transport function. The sensitivity of jogs is adjustable.

Cons: The game table mix (the knobs are too small, that engages the kill by pressing the knob, EQ to 0 there is sound). All this is corrected by adding my mixer. Few effects available but given the seriousness of mixvibes defect will be corrected in an update.

At value for money it is about as good for less than € 300 was the software of good quality, integrated sound card, and the control surface.

After the firmware upgrade (V4.2), I sometimes some bugs: The function activated by the transport shift key and jog sometimes seems to be inactive, then reactive ... Yeah!
Sometimes the pitch alone runaway (+,-,+,-,+,-+,-+,-) not easy to wedge in these conditions! A simultaneous pressing of the buttons bend, + and - at a time, managed to get out of this mess ...
to see if anything else happens ...

Hercules 4MX, Vestax VCI100, VMS4, S4 ... many models of very good qualities, but just far too expensive for my wallet.

What thing do you like most/least about it?
The best: easily transportable
Fewest: lack of audio effects. Coming in an update I hope

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Excellent. Less than 300 €, and nothing from the "big" at 600 to 700 € in terms of quality / performance. Just a damper on the number of effects, but normally if mixvibes not change their policy, updates will bring new effects for free

Yes, I tried a large number of controllers at the same price range before buying it, here's the list of controllers:
- Vestax VCI-100 MK2
- Hercules DJ Console 4-Mx

What thing do you like most/least about it?
Ascending:
- The side of the compact controller
- The buttons are perfectly mapped to the software
- The appearance and strength of the robust controller

The -:
- At this day I do not see the build quality, weight, everything is by appointment. Today I do not see any side effects.

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Having a controller with an integrated sound card and quality, I find very good value for money!

Yes, I unhesitatingly Refer this choice, quality and price to go!

No, I do my debut mix, so, I sought advice from friends who know more than me. I not bad compared with other controllers available and I watched a lot posts on the forums before you buy.

What thing do you like most/least about it?

Positives:
Before buying, it's the look of the controller and the fact that there is an integrated sound card. In addition, since the software is not limited version, I will not need to buy a full version when I begin to master all.
After purchase, what I liked: easy to install and use. Initially, Windows automatically recognized the sound card as the default controller. It therefore became necessary that I change manually to reset the internal sound card defaults and the Cross was able to walk without a hitch, despite my little laptop not very powerful. For now I'm not a bug, the sound quality is good and I did not crackle.
The installation is plug and play, it was the only manipulation that I have done.
Regarding the relationship controller / software immediately found the software functions on the controller, who seem to be "set pages" for each other.

Bad points:.
I find the weight a little heavy, but according to some it proves that it is not a toy. To see.
I must also lament that "there is no carrying case. The outer carton is certainly well designed with a handle for a trip but shop - home ... At least we comb the box and that we customize the lol ... No, joking aside it would have been nice just to protect the buttons, to have a protective case.

What is your opinion about the value for the price?

For now I find it very good. Say that it was neither the least nor the most expensive (taking into account that it has a integrated sound card and software in full version).

For now it goes well then yes. I'll come back here if I ever complain all starts messing around.
