Used on a macpro macbook pro 1.1 and a newer.
TC electronic card with a lil Controller Vestax VCI 100,
I bidouillais Traktor for a while, like that in the mouse, keyboard, or my master keyboard.
Then I found a cheap vestax, but very weird config with traktor on the MBP ... So I tested the demo version of Cross 1.7. Nice software, good enough for me (amateur evening with friends ...), French ptite nice box. Not above a little lack of effects ...
When I saw that for 40 €, one could have version 2.0.1, I started.

Install perfect.

Install perfect.
I bought version 2.0, 2.0.1 Shift on the site, filed a slipped, and away you go.
2 minutes of sound card config, 1 min to import my midi map.
No manual, but a good forum. I expected more "tutorials", video, etc. ...

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Tested for 24 hours. (Not stop it anyway). All nickel.

OVERALL OPINION

24 ... this is not huge to judge either.
Simpler than traktor, amply meets my needs.
Effects much more satisfying than the old version, (ammount controls and depth)
Simple mapping correctly, apart from some details: LED for assignments and "multi-button" (same button control deck A or B as selected)
The samples, very promising!
Excellent value for money.
