Mixtrack Pro works like any two-decks-and-a-mixer DJ setup.
Mixtrack Pro has two deck controllers with touch-activated jog wheels and transport controls. Mixtrack Pro contains illuminated Transport, Loop, and Effects buttons for quick referencing during performance on stage or in the studio. The center of Mixtrack Pro’s surface is its mixer section with a smooth crossfader, line faders, deck EQs, and advanced controls for looping and effects.
Mixtrack Pro also acts as a professional audio interface providing stereo sound to both the master outputs and headphone cue. There is even a microphone input to add vocals to a DJ set or make announcements. Mixtrack Pro connects to a Mac or PC as a class-compliant device so it requires no software drivers to work, and is USB powered so an external supply is not needed.
Included with Mixtrack Pro is the Virtual DJ LE software for mixing and performing all types of digital audio and video formats, including direct access to iTunes playlists.
Pricing & Availability
Mixtrack Pro will be available from musical instrument and DJ retailers in Q4 2010. It has a U.S. retail price of $349.00 and a street price of $249.99.
