I use DDJS1 for 5 days

Before I had acquerire mix with NDX400, the DJ4SET.

Is that I really like is its reactivity, the output sound very good, all is accurate, the software is very professional, the effects are good, brief perfect.

Is that I like least about it is its price .. otherwise I see no inconveniant

experience with the remake of course I will choose the same budget, this controller is really good, which I was mixing with a DJX750 before and 2 NDX400, and quite frankly nothing has even, the sound is excellent DDJS short, a jewelry !

J occasionally used this console. She m seduced at first but I have found the product too expensive
To report its performance against a VCI 300.
The new price seems more consistent product to € 1000 today. Hello margin! C is the first time I chose Pioneer Pro. C is a console with good functionalities of others just as certainly, but the whole is too plastic and c is a pity. Prennes a VCI 300 in hand, it does more to see toy like that but will do pretty much the same things. I regret this choice by telling me that I'll put the more expensive and invest in a CDJ 850 or 900. Product reliability is the appointment and fader / knob good but the reliability of the PC or Mac can make me forget the Pioneer quality.! J have liked to have had this award (€ 1500) of an SD card reader or USB for failure of the computer but that no manufacturer thinks and c is a shame.

I use it for a month (including 8 hours of mix "live" in the club)

I had a pair of CDJ 500 + small Denon latest issue with a DJM 500. The classic, clean and efficient but a bit "old" and carry around large (in addition to the set cblage ...).

Trs attach Pioneer (never had a problem with their gear - aa real value); j'hsitais on paper between traktor (+ DDJ T1) and Itch (+ DDJ S1).

I tested both and retained the S1 DDJ particular for the following reasons:
+ Mode "Slip" - a joy of flexibility ...
+ A VU-Maître (there is no on T1)
+ Auxiliary input equalizer with + possibility to ask the above effects
The Connect Pro + (no XLR outputs on T1)

J'aprhendais much to go from a 100% Hardware (though robust) of 50/50 Software, with the risk of crash inhrents computer ... To date, APRS (cumulative about 50 hours of total flying time with about 8 live, zero crash (50/50 on Windows XP and Mac OS 32), zero lag (r commands rel lay in real time, the pitch is a Ractive and an atomic stability).

In short, I highly recommend this product, whose performance (compressor-software? - Intgr multi-effects pro, ...) make it an unbeatable solution in terms of qualitprix report, with the comfort supplmentaire intake by Itch in managing tracklist (y / c record sets, automatic mmorisation backgroun of all actions), management of loops, ...

For the form, one might wish in a soft version of ultrieure:
1. The SP6 dclenchement loops directly from the console;
2. An extension of the range of effects (eg, a bandpass rsons, a vocoder, ...)

What is so special that you like most and least?
Pros: the size, quality pioneer, sound, two mic inputs
Cons: it lacks a Booth output with its own volume control
ITCH is temperamental 64-bit Windows
I really love to have an auxiliary input as independent

How would you rate the quality / price?
€ 1,300 buy in July, the controller currently costs € 1000 at this price it's a great value!

With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Yes, the area is nice, spacious, faders & jogs are good and the same size as those of Cdj 400, the needle search
Bar (touch screen) and really great
In short nothing to do with a console Hercules .....

For how long have you been using it?

I have received since it was released in France since then + / - 3 weeks.

Did you try many other models before getting this one?

I start with a Hercules RMX controller to see if I liked the mix ...
After that I buy 2 CDJ-400 and 1 DJM-400 that I used for 2.5 years that are great to use! but binding for transport ...
I also try CDJ-1000 MK3 and CDJ-800 and Denon DN-S 1200.

What is so special that you like best?

The ease of use, the 5 hot cues, the precision in the mix for my part I find really jogs accurate and quite similar to the CDJ-400, the needle is so nice and search saves time looking for a specific point of music.
New: Slip mode allows lots of creativity in the mix while staying within the time which is pretty cool!

Goodbye CDs, Vinyl ITCH welcome a Macbook and go! use Plug and Play does not beug no latency in the mix even on prolonged use.

What is so special that you like least?

The automatic synchronization function to ban!

What is your opinion about the value for the price?

Who says Pioneer says the high price ... but the quality is there, hit the buttons and even the controller is remarkable! (It's strong!)
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?

I can not have enough experience yet, but I find this style of product really useful for those who want to do this without spending a fortune and pleasure to take his DDJ-S1 anywhere you want: p

After I had Gemini CDT-05 hybrid with a table Gemini CS-02
I mixed and repeatedly Numark Axis 9 Korg 402 with table ...

Characteristic I like most:
I love the sleep function, but if not everything is perfect ...

I like the least:
The sync feature is useless for me, still prefers to do this manually, but if not nothing wrong ...

Value for money:
Pioneer is good so it's expensive but like all Pioneer products, the quality is by appointment finishes are perfect, it seems to have two and a cdj djm 400 ...
Brief control of the rolC ...!

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?

but if I could afford it anyway I'd take the 900 with a cdj djm ...
