Atomix Virtual DJ 3.x is the first piece of DJ software that I have ever used. At first glance it looked great and seemed simple. But after using it I realized I wasn’t going to be able to do it without some help. I had to look around for some help online on the forums and in the virtual manual that I had for it.


GETTING STARTED

After I got the hang of out the basic functions work it was a lot of fun to use. I am not a d j but I do enjoy creating my own mixes and just messing around from time to to and may become a d j someday but for now its just for enjoyment to me but I don’t see why a real d j wouldn’t be able to use this software to d j with even in a live setting , if you have a good computer that can handle it you could probably do your whole d j set with it.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The price of it was pretty cheap, I think I got it off a clearance rack for around 100 bucks or so and it ran great on my dual core pc.


OVERALL OPINION

I haven't used in other d j softwares before this one so its hard to judge how good it was at the time. But since then I have messed around with a few other softwares but I must say this one seems like its one of the better ones. All the functions are right there in front of you and pretty easy to understand. Its just like having a real d j set up just on the screen instead of actually having the tables in front of you. I love how d j’s now can just carry a laptop around and that’s it. I have been seeing d j’s do this for a few years now so I had to get the program and try it for my self and im pretty impressed with it.

Simplicity and the new video module motivated my choice for this product

I think so because I made a good choice and the evolution of software appears to be continuing so I have no regrets so far not at all

I always apprci mixer. A few years ago when I mixais in CD and vinyl j'tais particulirement rticent to facilities (BPM counters, master tempo, ...). I still tried several programs PC-DJing. I had a flash when I vritable Discoveries VirtualDJ so silent that I think its version 1.08 and shortly APRS I ripped and put the basement most of my CDs and vinyls.

I use this app but now the house is perfect for use in the club. I dj test tonight and I must say I surprised t trs enjoyable benefits that this program can provide a DJ.

I use this program without SPECIFICATIONS Controller if it is an external mixer to which I connect the three outputs (two decks + samples), while fitting the two amps. I also back the sound of my table to spread the opportunity of the Internet Radio VirtualDJ (http://radio.virtualdj.com).

I use VirtualDJ for over a year.

- I use the software with a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 which is connecting my mixer, which is itself connected my turntable to my timecode vinyl, maya 44 sound card with USB dCode my timecode vinyl (the only problem is that these connections are trs complications) and my Hercules DJ console that allows me all sorts of rglages and beneficial effects on my mix. Suffice to say all this with the standards and the possibilities are soft gre all without difficulty!

Having always mix with the software visualdiscomix I wanted to spend more sensory interface so I bought the Hercules DJ Console Mk2 and software virtual dj 3.x comes with silent. I t trs trs tonn not complte its capabilities and its ease of handling.

It is a perfect software for those who dbutent and it does not require a big pc config.
If there are problems the site's forum is full of good advice all the more that can have download on the site full of samples of skin and effects to customize its software.
What struck me the most is that this software tonn intgre functions mix video that they still require more power.

For my part I have a 1.2GHz Athlon with 512MB of SDRAM to mix a home, I use a laptop sional bcp more recent.Mais my old computer that already has 6 years which is enough largement.Et striking is the quality of sound that emerges from the combination Hercules DJ Console and Virtual DJ (professional advice Audiovisual)

OVERALL OPINION

So in conclusion I would say that it is a software to start IDAL which includes all the necessary functions and a lower cost if you buy it with the Hercules DJ console.Avec time on discovering lots of different functions. It's been six months that I use and I will return back to anything.

The main features you would want from a turntable are there. In addition there are many features that are unavailable when using only hardware. They could add some more functionality for keyboard shortcuts when it comes to users without external controllers. For those with external controls, it should be perfect.

Logically, since it is a dj program you would need to learn the basics of djing to use it. For those who know the basics, there is no doubt that virtual dj will mixing easier.

I've never had it crashed on me, and it is stable enough for a live set.

The sound engine is solid. They have stated it might be problematic when using video and audio, but I never used the video function.

OVERALL OPINION

I have made it a part of my dj set up, so I can't really imagine not using it. Though you have to deal with other dj's who think they're superior for spinning only vinyl.
