Veillette Guitars introduce a new approach for the doubleneck guitar.
The Veillette Doubleneck features necks that are rotated or “rolled” along their axis, in opposite directions from each other. This idea opens up access to both necks, in a natural arc for the player’s arm. This also allows closer spacing between necks without compromising access, minimizing needless extra size and weight, according to the company.
A chambered body and choice of hardware put this balanced guitar under the 10 lb. mark, Veillette says.
Pricing
Starting at $5900 retail, the Doubleneck is handmade in Veillette Guitars’ Woodstock NY workshop.
