Martin & Co celebrates several anniversaries and special events this year, with three limited edition guitars that debuted at Summer NAMM.

Martin & Co pays tribute to the Mexican workers who have been participating in the manufacturing of their guitars in the Navojoa factory with the 000RS25 Navojoa 25th Anniversary electric-acoustic guitar, which is limited to 250 instruments worldwide.

The guitar features a Sitka spruce top with a simple rosette, solid sapele back and sides and a scalloped X bracing. The neck is made of solid sipo with a modified oval shape and a 25.4” scale length, the Indian rosewood fingerboard features 20 frets and white Dot inlays. Rosewood is also used on the bridge and Martin mounted Fishman Sonitone USB electronics. The neck joint is at 14th fret and the guitar has a natural finish. US pricing announced is $1349 and a lefty version is available at no additional cost.

Dreadnought aficionados can look at the D-18 Sycamore which celebrates 50 years in making guitars in the Sycamore Street factory. It features a torrefied Sitka spruce top, solid sycamore back and sides with scalloped X bracing, sycomore neck with oval shape and 25.4” scale length, and solid ebony fingerboard with  20 frets (joint at the 14th fret) and green Abalone inlays. The 1930s style Belly bridge is made of ebony and you’ll find a drop-type tortoiseshell pickguard, bindings and purfling. The electronic on this Natural finish model is optional and a lefty version is also available for the same price. Only 50 guitars will be available for $3299 each.

Last, Martin & Co offers 25 SS-OM42–14, for the unit price of $11 999. This folk guitar is derived from the D-42 Sinker Mahogany introduced at Summer NAMM last year. It features an Adirondack spruce top, Sinker mahogany back and sides with a Gloss Oak Tuner Burst finish. The modified V-shaped mahogany neck joints the body at the 14th fret, and supports a solid ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and Abalone Golden Era Snowflakes inlays as well as Madagascar rosewood bindings, and the 1930s Belly ebony bridge features the same Snowflakes inlays. Tuners on this guitar are golden and you’ll find on the body Paua Pearl inlays with three plies of black/white/black fiber as well as a drop-style tortoiseshell pickguard. Left-handed version is also available for the same price and electronics is optional.
