«  And cut in the rock! »

This cardioid dynamic microphone is designed for bass drum, of course we must be able to use it for other purpose, with results more or less happy. I think the bass a Djembe Drum talk or example. See it on a bass amp ...
I just tested on bass drum.

OVERALL OPINION

I made two with miking. I do not put 10 (I feel like it) because it is not versatile. Or the d112 or the 52 can be used on several styles sic D6 gives the big sound as djeun's would say. Its a huge, modern, with everything you need to kick and bass quite round the resonant head. No need to équalo it work right away. The microphone is placed preferably right "entrance" of the box. And it sounds live even without compression ... HUGE, amazing.
Well there is magic in the product that makes the result of his current Rock prod.
While working on a little one can have different results. For example, I relaxed the resonance of a "small" Mapex 20 inches and I had one in his ear close to my plastic trash. But once past the D6 a marvel of massive thick chain. (I would put examples if I find a way).
on the other hand friend (s) of the Jazz and the song go your way, too typed for use in these areas of music. I bought a D112 which will agree better with the versatility ...

Brief for rock (modern) he is unstoppable and has no competitors, it is easy to implement, light and reliable.

Do not really suitable for the rest unless like me you like to experiment and create "sounds" out of eternal standards USIT for 30 years.

I do not ask for more than 57 on Snare for ages unless I find the result lives up to my ears :)

In short a great tool for musicians. For € 200 from your dealer is not Cheros given the surprising quality of the microphone. I no longer would separate.
