Mirco bass drum, dynamic.
OVERALL OPINION
I have to kick another mirco, the model home F14 Audix, I met for almost two years and I wanted to take a step up!
Conclusion: Really happy with the D6! It sounds "serious"!
For the time test in my home studio, all the elements of the battery are transplanted, pass into a console, I do my mix and adds a pc, cd ...
I wanted a big fat sound is closer to a live sound, great base, impact .. and found!
FYI, my sound system:
GC Tama Starclassic Perf B / B 24x18 (SKII + Regulator) + Audix D6 (inside the GC, pos on the foam of egg-shaped box that acts as a small cushion for the skin resonance) + Comp Dbx 266xl + Alesis Multimix 16FW + Shure e2c
