Lewitt will introduce at NAMM 2013 two new MTP Series stage microphones, the condenser MTP 940 CM and the dynamic MTP 840 DM.

MTP 940 CM Features:

  • 1-inch externally biased, dual-system capsule with ultra-thin, gold-layered low-mass diaphragms
  • Three polar patterns: cardioid, wide cardioid, supercardioid
  • Dynamic range of 135 dB-A
  • Frequency range : 20Hz – 20kHz
  • Self-noise: 9 dB-A
  • 3-position switchable pre-attenuation pad (0 dB, 6 dB, and 12 dB)
  • Max SPL : 144 dB, 0 dB pre-attenuation / 150 dB, 6 dB pre-attenuation
  •  / 156 dB, 12 dB pre-attenuation
  • 3-position switchable high-pass filter :12dB/octave at 100Hz, 6dB/octave at 250Hz
  • Illuminated indication of microphone settings (can be switched off)
  • Recessed slide switches prevent unintended change of settings
  • Integrated acoustic pop and windshield
  • Full-metal die-cast body
  • Hardened steel mesh grille
  • Corrosion-resistant gold-plated 3-pin XLR output connector
