Micro electro dynamic transducer. Also known as "micro chant".
able to support heavy sound pressure.
Robust. Efficiency. Not fragile.
Micro reference.
Nice design.

OVERALL OPINION
Use for many years.
Main qualities: subtlety. Absolutely nothing to do with an SM 58 which simply do his "vulgar"
Musicality. Warm color, pleasant. Pretty sharp and mediums.
The value for money.
Some cons-parts:
The grave just a little
Do not invest in the E845 model but in the E845. ie model without switch. Why? People had fun! "It cracks in the ears."
Tip: If you have already invested in the E845 there is a screw at the switch that I strongly advise you to use. (I put 8 / 10 then)
I tried many other models before it. I much prefer to all others.
I naturally do it again this choice (in fact I have remade)
