« classic, flattering arch known to all »
Published on 05/21/13 at 22:32mainly used for singing.
dynamic type unidirectional cardio
bp: 50Hz - 15,000 Hz
theoretical imp 150 ohm (real 300omhz) info from wikipedia
Weight approx 300gms
OVERALL OPINION
I use since 1998, mainly for live, just for the record, when static does not lend, or when a particular type of sound is desired.
the advantage of this microphone is undoubtedly the fact that it is a Reference, known to all, we know how to settle it, what we will get as its so ...
it is quite flattering on the voice, which can be a good point, and it is correct with regard to the general characteristics of a microphone of this type (resistance to plosives, the feedback, made global etc ...)
on small scenes, where multiple microphones singing, there are big chances of snagging the feedback with the microphone, and I prefer him audix OM7 much less sensitive (but more expensive)
