« Very good but ... »
Published on 04/03/11 at 04:43Made in Korea (south eh: P)
Bridge Hipshot
24 frets
2 soapbar pickups mk1 Bartholin
5 = knob acute, severe and bridge pickup, neck and overall volume
1 switch active / passive
Channel crossing
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice, thin and not thick unlike Warwick. The form is good weight 4.1 kg therefore very reasonable for such a low. The access is relatively easy to treble, horn bottom can hinder the wrist for those who do not pass your thumb over the neck. A huge pannel its enjoyable.
SOUNDS
I play mostly jazz and funk with the bass even though I could play everything. The very biggest weakness of this bass is the sound mushy and sympathetic vibration of strings that sound disgusting if you have not a correct technique. I play on an amp Warwick Blue Cab 60 and a Hartke A35 and it suits me perfectly. In slap it sounds really good the sound is either very bold or very trebly mark king style.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for almost a year and a half I have not tried before purchasing it but I really tried after and comfort her and she beats pannel of Warwick in 2500 euros in my opinion, even if the definition of it has nothing to do. I love the finish even if the head does not really please me. The value for money is what is best in class, I do it again this choice because it is a bargain to me.
