« Godin BG 4 String Bass »
Published on 11/23/03 at 15:00I got the bass a two years ago but the price has most definatly changed by now... $700-1000 dollars Canadian I would guess. (EMG pick-ups)
OOOOH the feel of the bass is soooo nice. Very sexy look to it. Outstanding EMG pickups on the bass. Volume control, Pickup Selector and Bass/Treble knobs. The Bass/Treble is a two part knob, the larger is the bass and the smaller is the treble. Nice wood finish on the body and neck. No Pickgaurd. I personally dislike picguards in a bass.
The only problem is the whole pickguard issue. I dislike the pickguard but some may find it useful.
Beatiful maple finish that honestly sparcles. The sound is absolutely perfect with the EMG pickups.
This is the perfect bass. The only reason I would get a new one (instead of this one) is if I was looking for more than the 4 strings. So I am going for the BG-5.
IF YOU GET THIS BASS PUT GOOD STRINGS ON IT. Don't disgrace the godin by putting some crappy ones on it.
