Bass with agathis set neck, rosewood fingerboard of 22 boxes. It has two humbucker pickups, controlled by two volume and tone. The bridge includes only the narrow part of the micro loan, behind, it's just a decorative plate.
Red glitter finish for the table and pearly everything else (handle included) is superb.
UTILIZATION
The neck is pretty nice over in the mind that p-bass jazz bass, large enough solid with good access to acute.
The ergonomics are quite good, strapped, it does not sting the nose weight is correct without a poods pen.
SOUNDS
This bass has a well rock. The microphone is superb with only one serious body and support in the grave. Both pickups together give a more dug quite nice, the only acute micro seems a little weak. Plugged into an amp all lights, it's pretty fantastic!
However, fans of modern techniques, slap, etc.. go your way. It is suitable for most musicians looking for his roots playing enough fingers or a pick.
OVERALL OPINION
I love the look and finish, I like his sound sixties. That said, I always keep my jazz bass and my accuracy. But I like to change from time to time low, and the Italia offers an alternative.
The price / quality ratio is pretty good for me because I found it used. However I do not know the original price.
With experience, yes I would do this without making choices but my main bass.
