I am still shocked at how much this bass has given me for the price I payed for it. Even though it seemed much at the time, all of my bass skills were delivered from this guitar. The action was just about right for me and the thing which impressed me largely was how well it stayed in tune.
After one year of playing, I have noticed only one minor change occuring in the bass and that is that the frets are beginning to become slightly worn (mainly due to my every day use!)
I knew instantly, this was a solid piece of kit in terms of the build quality and how much I paid.
If you don't have the money for a true Fender and want the Precision bass tone nailed, update the pickups with some Seymour Duncan's and you'll be flying.
One last point. Please don't leave the strings like I did and then decide to replace them because you felt like it. I had about half a year of flat, dead tone and it wasn't a good experience and when I restrung the bass... big difference!
Nether the less, what a legendary beginners guitar!!!! Good luck folks!
