Published on 03/20/05 at 15:00I was looking for a moderate priced bass with a high dollar sound and look. I got a great deal through Musicians Friend and got this bad boy for right around $300.00
The looks with the gold hardware and sleek body design are incredible. The action in this bass is outstanding. The tonal controls are limitless. The active pickups are a must. I've had mine for about 4 months now and I couldnt be more pleased. By far the best quality bass for the buck.
A little on the heavy side but nothing unbearable.
Solid body and durable. Nice accenture.
Bottom line is BUY THIS BASS!!!! You will not be dissapointed and will become a Yamaha lover after the first string is struck.
