Much has already been said! Preamp with EQUALIZERS and "amp simulator", compression, overdrive / distortion, modulation, delay, expression pedal, tuner and a looper to 38 sec! Missing (unless I am mistaken) a metronome!
UTILIZATION
The setup is simple? What a question ... I really was put off by the multi effect because of the huge big screen and all ... For the ME 70, is simple: the knobs, the knobs and knobs (attention anyway, saving your patch corresponds to numbers on the mini LCD!). Furthermore everything is written on the bike ... Well, you turn the knobs you want left or right then you're using pedals turn!
Then, when editing a sound, we can no longer simple example, you put distortion blues, and you move! Then you manage the volume effect, tone, ...
The manual is short but clear!
SOUND QUALITY
I use a Fender Start 70's classic and a Marshall MG100 DFX ...
Suffice to say that until now, I was disappointed with the sound of my amp, could never get the sound I was looking for ... So I'm new to effects pedals and my opinion is worth what it is!
While sound quality, I was amazed ... It is effective at all levels and quickly (perhaps unless you are very demanding or professional??) And the knobs are so sensitive work! The amp is pretty good imitation. The noise suppressor is a purification for the ears, I still can not get over (Novice I remind you!).
I love raving with wha sounds, imitation violin, voice ... For now, I do not sound that I hate! Can be a downside for the looper: when you stop the loop, the phrase is deleted ...
OVERALL OPINION
I've tried any other multi effects pedal. I even tried the Boss Noise Supressor DS1 but I was pretty disappointed with the result! Like Boss (I have a RC-20 XL) once I did not hesitate: we must try and find out it must be used for a time I think. Therefore, once again, my opinion is worth what it is ... I did that for 3 days! But I feel like I rediscovered the guitar!
I remake that choice without hesitation: 270 euros for a pedal that allows me to discover the world of guitar effects and with quality. Moreover I am not interested in the use of 36 000 effects, just having the ability to use good effects wisely!
My opinion is not totally neutral, I just buy it I'll come back in some time to improve my opinion ...
