The Carl Martin Purple Moon is inspired by the 60s and 70s fuzz and vibe effects, so it is designed for vintage sound lovers, thus its availability in the Vintage Series.
The stompbox is fully analog, features a true bypass and is powered by a 9V battery or with an adapter.
You’ll find on the Purple Moon two speed knobs combined to a footswitch, as well as depth and level for the vibe effect, while the fuzz section is located on the center with two black knobs. You can then use both effects together.
The price of the Purple Moon was not communicated, the first models are currently being shipped to retailers.
You’ll find more info soon at www.carlmartin.com and while Carl Martin adds more demos, you can listen to the Steve Boltz’ demo that was posted for Musikmesse:
