I never managed to use the midi editing PC ...
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is fairly simple and fairly intuitive. However, it will help from time to time in the manual to take full advantage of functions offered.
The center button "Warp" is very useful and is remarkably well thought out. It is used to adjust the mix of two different amps.
In the effects nothing to say either that good! For flémards can achieve a good sound quickly. For the picky, the level of detail will satisfy your desire for accuracy.
With respect to any of the manual is described in detail so all questions that may arise will be answered.

SOUND QUALITY
FOR METAL:
I use a ESP Viper and it spits it right though! I made a purring sound Metal here based on a patch downloaded via the Digitech site.
For both rehearsals and concerts for the home studio. We must prevent against by plugging the preamp of your amp. Usually it goes better in the loop.
Recently I added before a Rocktron Silver Dragon digitech and I'm in heaven!
I will not change my current setup against a line 6 pod.
FOR THE ROCK:
I use it with an Epiphone Dot and it works very well. The light is very accurate and sound effects right away even at low volume.
The rock is saturated with warm against the crunch is not great.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for many years. Before I had the pedal Boss Gt3 I quickly forgot!
Being able to have a coupling of two amp and cab and downright interesting and effective! What I love is the versatility in use (Repeats / Concert / Studio). I can play all styles of music.
At the time I tried the pod xt and frankly I do not hesitate for long ...
With the experience I would do exactly the same choice.
