Sound/loudness issues
Published on 04/03/17 at 21:46I am using a Ibanez Roadstar 2 guitar with a Peavey microbass amp.
I just got this the other day from an online purchase.
I have never been around this type of pedal set-up.
I am finding that in using the pre-set effects that I have to monkey with the volumn control with every pedal step. Sometimes it is so dang loud if I have the headphones on I go deaf and the next set of effects are quite the opposite.
My patch cables are great and nothing wrong with my guitar because it sounds great without the FX7 hooked up.
Anybody have suggestions or ideas or comments?
I like the unit but my neighbors 6 houses away at 10 pm do not like it, as don't the other 5 closer neighbors.…

DOD FX7 Multi-Effects Guitar Processor
Published on 01/09/04 at 15:00Initially I borrowed it from a friend and found it so good that I bought it from him for £120 as he hadnt got to grips with the programing as he had lost the instructions booklet.
With some careful selections of chorus you can get some nice sounds of Pink Floyd or U2 and also the Heavy distortion as well if you choose. You can also select the same sounds on the 3 different pads within a bank but set the volume different so you can switch volume by foot during a song.
You can step up through the program banks by foot but you cannot go back. So once you have clicked forward, to go back you have to keep stepping on through the 9 banks until you get there again.

The unit is gigged and is robust for my use, but I have treated it with respect.
I have kept it as found some good sounds in this unit and good and I have found it has many choices of sound and is simpler to use than some other pedals on the market.
Once you play around with the sounds and get to know it, I have found it to be an excellent unit for the Rock scene.

DOD FX 7 Guitar FX Processor / Pedal
Published on 01/04/04 at 15:00I got this fx pedal off of ebay for 42 bucks total. I got this pedal because I tried it once and I loved the different options and the amount of different fuzz and noise types.
I like the sound emitted from this unit. It provides a lot of different outputs and is easy to carry.
I don't like the way you have to bank every so often. I wish it was made of metal alloys instead of hard plastic.
It is about the size of paper 11" X 8.5".
I couldn't live w/o this fx processor/pedal

DOD FX7 Guitar Multi-Effects Processor
Published on 12/13/02 at 15:00$350 CAN in 1997. Wanted a good deal on multi-effects.
All the choices for effects.
Ping and pong delays. Play along input. Stereo output. Nice EQ.
Wah seems weak. Can not combine WAH, phaser, chorus, flange effects together. Gate feature is a bit weak. No swell. Can not feedback (cos it's digital, not the unit's fault). Octave down is poor. Unit picks up hum from A/C lines but strangely good around dimmers.
Fair. 1st unit was returned after it failed on 2nd day of use. Foot pedal's switch can get sticky (not for bar use). Unit 2 has developed a hum in distortion circuitry and the compressor has since failed.
Was a good deal and a great intro into effects. Unit was used with a...…

Was a good deal and a great intro into effects. Unit was used with a hollow body, single coils strat, 6-string bass and Ovation. Just treat it little a computer quality part that will last 4yrs.
