OVERALL OPINION
I asked myself the question of which accompany my new pedalboard JTV89 ...
Owner of a PODX3L, I finally tamed gearbox settings via the bug and have sold a little early (I'm gonna buy one as soon I think) ... So, what bitter disappointment, when his successor, the long awaited M13 Stompbox happened: despite a tough look and even elegant, presets really ch ... virtually unusable, and of course no grain amplifier / cabinet quickly to find my bearings! Ouiinnnn ...
Then, passing through the net, forums and elsewhere ... update the bug for the version 2.04 via midi ... visit the site resource sharing blackjack vettaville.nl (with stylized scenes: images of the settings screens / choice of pedals) and there .... ze baffffe my ch'tites n'oreilles!
No further amplification that my mix on the sound of the Tyros2, sounds stiff to fall! Everything (almost) The Edge, Clapton sounds, Setzer, Knopfler, zztop, ACDC ... already with the fender strato, it sounds good (but it should be a color receiver and more!), but then, with the versatility of sound and attacks the new JTV 89, denies it is a foot.
I currently support all the scenes "stuck" on VettaVille (although I will have 48 after filing and storage streamlined, but the pb is that each, there is discovery and exploration, a small hack and bam ... a new big sound! So I wander along the way ... well, it's just the principle of the thing, for the amateur that I = have fun playing music!
Well, this will not help but re-equip with extra X3L, or if the test is successful with an HD500 ... because after all, the M13 is sorely lacking, in my opinion, two things: first, a connection dedicated Variax, second, interface pc / mac that loads more user-friendly sysex via midi (type gearbox to make copy / paste the config files to be exchanged).
But really, Dominik Hardy, freight-time, I had been certified by mail and it's not a lie: the possibilities of this stompbox is huuuuge, bluffing sound quality (I can hardly imagine the machine on an all-tube VOX)!
For 324 euros, shipping included, through a small music store that sold in OCCAZ warranty, I think I'm not ready to regret my purchase ...
