I use it with different types of guitars, EC100, Egen8, VGS, Explorer, it colors the sound without biting on the texture of guitars.
I do not use any effects (say 80%) but none seems superfluous.
OVERALL OPINION
I know the intellifex to be used in the past, I returned it today for the quality / price and its ability to blend into a rack. The XL version is top view they added EQ.
In format rack I did not use much else, apart from a Line 6 XT Pro when I was younger, not possible comparisons. Not even use either what is more plug and play ....
Regarding the fact I know myself a lot and I definitely fallen leaves Boss and everything that is not controllable via midi.
