See previous post and the manufacturer's website.
Beware: this rack preamp does not like many recent multi-effects. Here there are only effects.
Proper connection, including the ability to control type 2 signal switch. In my config, notably allows to bypass the effects loop on the amp (hence the G-major).
Interface.
Many settings for each effect (I do not know the whole again and we get very decent sound, leaving some default settings).
This rack is not designed to be hacked in concert as effects pedal, it must be programmed in advance.

UTILIZATION

After reading the manual traveled quickly, no great difficulty in programming. Everything is easily controllable by MIDI (PC or CC) and provides the connection of an expression pedal to control (or) any setting.
French manual just fine.

SOUND QUALITY

I use it only for the effects of delay, reverb and chorus / flanger. Outside (compressor, detune, filter ...) no opinion because I do not use it.
My config is summed up: Musicman JP7, Mesa Roadking amp head, cabinet 4x12 NOS (+ various other equipment).
I was looking for the solution that I found a maximum transparency of my effects chain to keep all my chain characteristic of guitar / amp. Disappointed at first: the G-Major is not at all transparent, it strongly modifies the sound contrary to what we sometimes read. For proof, simply insert it into the serial loop of the amp and see what he gives no effect activated: the original sound of the amp loses much of its characteristic ...
By fiddling and even after having hesitated to sell it: connected to the parallel loop with appropriate leveling on input / output of the amp and the G-major (option "kill dry" on), we obtain the desired transparency, and where everything is pleasant: I learned what a true delay (if you use a GT6 like me, you can put it in the trash). The other effects I use are no exception. Both clear sound with chorus and reverb in lead saturated with a delay only found happiness.
I post a 10 but I recall that I do not use any effects.

OVERALL OPINION

In short: I hesitated a conf more complicated with three separate racks: delay (D-two or TC2290), reverb (M-One XL) and chorus (mod pro) but I preferred to go to the economy and well I can: the G-major is a champion of quality / price ratio (surout in hand).
Controlled from a MIDI footswitch and expression pedal, it is fully effective in concert (no latency between each command).
With the appropriate settings you get the transparency that makes the G-major is not satisfied as to color the original sound of the amp and does not destroy it.
I have not encountered any problem reported that some wheels ... (knock on wood).
