UTILIZATION

Despite not display full presets, and the thing that makes crazy every time we intervene on setting must first pass the point where it was before the knob is effective. Moreover, it is very sharp, with no indication of course.
Use this trick to me was very painful, and I can not explain the absence of any noisegate and God knows if this is useful noisegate one (even without crate guitar sounds).

SOUND QUALITY

I hated that thing, but the amp sounds offered me have bought the amp DG60 hello there and it is really killer.

SOUND QUALITY

Effects of good quality and realistic, good quality Audible and not breathing.
I use a Epiphone Les Paul up with Di Marzio pickups on Fender Super 112 all-tube (60 W) and since I did I connect directly to the power unit through the input of the loop 'effet.et I am very happy with the result.

I use it for 10 days.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

The amp simulation is very good. Yamaha, unlike its competitors in the field of modeling, does not make the mistake of associating its simulations of legendary amps. It prevents their return-customers like "your Plexi not sound like the real" (let's be honest, who has heard a Plexi closely enough to take that kind of talk?).

Overall, it works very well, with clear transparent sound, the warm crunch that grow to look for the words "Valve Inside" on the box, and very versatile distos between the rhythmic sounds very thick to Megadeth and many more things sharp (thank you control of Presence). Again, the simulator HP does the job, without genius, but effectively.

I use it with several guitars, and for me the best proof of quality is that the preamp respects the sound of the instrument, including a high sensitivity microphones used.

In terms of effects, most of them are very convincing (reverbs, delay, chorus, flanger, phaser), but others give in the bidding: the tape-echo is not worth a real one, the tremolo is abominable, and compressor is frankly stiff. Note, that makes it ideal for tapping into the clear ...

Final note: some presets are really bluffing (imitation of Santana is very well made), but the vast majority of factory sounds are drowned under the effects.

OVERALL OPINION

I recently bought the DG-Stomp used, after ordering a rack Behringer V-Amp Pro that is slow to arrive.

I love the portable format, the strength and versatility of this pedal, so I think the Yamaha is an excellent complement to the Behringer, which will be less prone to transport.

At a tad more than € 250 for a machine in its original box with instructions and 3 months warranty, I think I made a deal. I think I would do this choice.

In Output, HP simulator: From 1x12 to 4x12 with modern types / English, etc ...

Editable Via Midi, can add an expression pedal.

UTILIZATION

The configuration requires a minimum of reading the manual, but nothing really off-putting.
The settings are ergonomic, you rule and we play together, and then record when it suits us.
The manual is simplistic, and that's good.
We can really concentrate on the sound rather than the use of the device.

SOUND QUALITY

Personally, I use it mainly for the effects chorus, tremolo and delay. I turned off the preamp, and simulation of HP for maximum transparency, but we feel it is still, the sound seems slightly flattened, but nothing dramatic!
The refinished is good for my taste, I use it instead of reverb on my amp, so it's okay!
I tried to connect the input preamp and insert effect, the second solution I used, the effects are better applied.
Note that I used with a Peavey Classic 30 amp with a Fender Start Deluxe US.
First, there is little wind or not at all! (Important to my ears)
The compressor is inefficient (at least in my configuration).
I tried the preamp, but we feel that there is no lamp in the honky-tonk! The light is not too bad, though highly colored and distos sound too "Bzzzzzzzz" for my taste. I use the peavey distortion, which is much better.
I have not tried to exploit it to the recording studio, but apparently the headphone, the simulator HPs plays its part.
The effects are well made, even the tremolo, which, however, criticized, I think do a good job if not to pair it with the reverb (or very little)!
The delay is perfect for me and tap tempo can be used without worry.

Only the selection at the bottom is a bit tedious to switch to another group (group 3).

OVERALL OPINION

For about ten days.
I regret the compressor ineffective, I will have to add a boost pedal input, other than that, as I only use a few effects, it served its purpose and is suitable for my use.
I also like that robust design, perceived quality is very good, the knobs inspire confidence, only the selection buttons Effes are a bit "cheap", and one wonders how long they will take ...

I had previously multi-effects "low end": Korg A5 Zoom 505, which generate the breath, with little effect, slightly adjustable, cheap buttons imprecise or let go en route.

I think I would do this election if I have no problem with (if the buttons "cheap" are ultimately strong enough!)

There are all the basic information distortion effects, compressor, chorus, flanger, tremolo, reverb, delay, simulation ... It sets up the patches and then back into one of the 90 user memories.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is simple at first but ds that we enter the Bouzin things get complicated ...

The manual is highly recommended.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of some pramp. Excellent my taste. I made an album with studio and I could compare it with the pod and it did not make the weight. The saturations are smashing trs. I have been using 5 / 6 years and despite its many default I like him he can give the "big sound". I think even when my next purchase will be a VOX Tonelab. The report is qualitprix trs good in gnral at Yamaha, the DG Stomp is a solid and musical.
