So there are 40 factory patches and 40 user patches. So you can create your own patches with the effects available.
The effects are divided by family unit, each containing a number of in effect. It has a compressor module / fx, drive, EQ, modualtion, delay, reverb ... Each containing different types of effects (wah, acoustic simulation, flanger, chorus, ...) You can earn 8 modules. The effects are adjustable to the expression pedal, assignable at will a different module.

The G1X also has a drum of 40 patterns, with different measurement formats (4 / 4, 3 / 4) in different styles (rock, metal, blues, jazz ...) Practice for the study.

There is also a tuner function (not a substitute for a good tuner, but can help. I find it a bit vague)

UTILIZATION

The grip is not easy at first. It is a bit lost with this crowd of functions and settings, for only a few control buttons (I'm pretty adept "function, a button", but in this case ca would look like a cockpit of airbus ...)
Fortunately the manual is super light, very well done, very visual, very didactic. It was necessary here. Ultimately, if we take the time to look at the toy an hour or two, it begins to take over. After one week of use, I perfectly in hand, and I will rule quickly. In planning its own patches that freelance philosophy of the machine.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects suit me very well. Sounds like a little air, and I found what I needed. It is not always better, but ... The sound quality is good. The sound is clean. Me, it suits me. Notice to metalheads, you will find all you need Satus, fat, aggressive, warm, a bit of everything.
The device is versatile, however, since it allows to play any style. Just one thing, the simulation does not replace sound still not a scratch noise ...
There's also way to make things fun with sounds in combination, by fiddling ...

I use a Yamaha Pacifica G1X and a Peavey Bandit 112 amp. (It's been a good trio of material not too expensive, good quality and very versatile!)

OVERALL OPINION

I then used a little over a week.

-The expression pedal
-The addition of cascading effects
-Sound quality
-The overall robustness (plastic housing, but very solid, not "knock" sound commands)
-The great versatility
-Price

This is the first multi purpose I buy. I had a Vox amp with integrated multi-effects, good quality, but not as comprehensive.

Value for money very good. Bought € 71 with the AC adapter at Thomann. This is not to advertise, but it's that I found the cheapest. Everywhere else, it cost € 10 more without the charger (sold separately for € 9-12). It makes the difference ...

I am very happy, if I buy a do it again. And then zoom is a good brand.
I was a little hesitant, did not find any opinion on the net, the product is new. But there are no surprises.

UTILIZATION

Ah! I remember the time when I brought him home!

A Premire view, not many buttons and it is smaller than I thought.
Plug and Play, I fumble with the factory patches, I like to, sounds nice and it is an hour that I shall decide a jet p'tit look the record, Ah! right now it's clearer, it is quickly recovered but not retain all the effects right away o the obligation to keep the record for some time or the small card that had the Zoom IDE places with the pedals, the Credit Card format but contains the whole list of effects.

The pedals of expression is more important, even essential, but there is a problem: she starts squealing when I use it. With a large volume we do not hear it but low volume ARG! I have this problem RULES.

Preamp function is useful, it can play with headphones or by plugging the small speakers, practical and compact can travel.

I put 9 / 10 because it is not bad but could have a button supplmentaire be as part of the G2, too bad it works well when even trs.

SOUND QUALITY

The modlisation is not advised but I think it's not bad, I do not know if a similar to pedals quoted by the manufacturer but in any case sounds good.

I do not use any but you can play with a lot of styles, the Fender clean is beautiful, you can have a nice crunch up the bass saturation. It is versatile trs.

The simulation combo or stack is not convincing trs, I do not play with.

The effects are runis classic and good quality, chorus, flanger, tremolo, ... everything is plus effects friendly enough but some are more dlicat use as HPS (Harmonised Pitch Shifter). The compressor and booster are also useful trs. The Wah is good too, even if was not worth the real.

The reverb and delay are numerous and quite different.

8 / 10, it is quite complte but I did not really find anything I wanted, finally I find all the distos and simulations, there is little trs that I like and I really are useful.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several months and I'm not over the price.
I took it because it had licenses as compared to other brands and I thought that sounds would Fidler and I have no remorse today.

I advise all who nophytes a little money and who can with this familiaris with the effects and distortions, as I advise to express more with limited resources because it ' TRS is a good multi pedals for that price range.

I can not compare it with other models in this range because APRS is a matter of content and preferences at the interface. Found in some of the things What does not find in the other etc..

See below, already very detailed. On the theoretical side, it's great.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is simple indeed, but long! It has 2 knobs for all available settings, it is not: A to select the type of effect to change, the other for editing. At the same time, we could say that publishing certain effect is too limited: it can act only on the speed of the phaser, tremolo, and another whose name escapes me. The expression pedal is not very well finished, it grinds and slides wrong (Maybe with a little fat?)

SOUND QUALITY

Frankly, instead of making 150 effects half correct, I shall prefer 50 well done. The sound too digital sounding too clean and free of burrs. Not found the gaming experience that is directly plugged into an amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months. I like value for money very friendly. For € 80, it was enormously effective and that no good bill, it is very correct. I put 8 because of this good report.
With experience, I would buy more pedals for all that is before the amp (wha-wha, distortion ...) and a multi-effects to be placed in the loop.
