Multi Effects
• Metal Blue
• 50 7 effects modules
• 7 simultaneous effects
• 120 programs (60 presets + 60 user)
• 7 amp simulations
• ZNR: Zoom Noise Reduction (noise suppressor)
• Chromatic Tuner
. Section 3 pedals + 1 expression pedal
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is childish is very intuitive.
The config is very simple effects, from a time when we know what effect is has what ...
The manual was in English with the purchase but I download on the net is it is very clear.
SOUND QUALITY
For this type of pedalboard effects are not bad at all. Well of course it is not a multi purpose lamps (8 kind GFX ...), but there are effects that take the road, except the wah that can be beacoup mouth, forced to reduce the treble to get a maximun a wah correct.
Some effects appear to gadgets, but in terms of current effects, the return is acceptable.
I am using the GFX 3 with an Ibanez RG and a double ValveKing body, and it provides a background. For repeated and concerts, it's like clockwork, for the models, that In fdisons bah friend lent me his gfx 8 so I realized it was not as huge as AC but given the price (less than 200 €) the quality is great, and taken with her to record are good (just a little lack of heat ... due to the absence of lights surely!)
but is not out of it is very good!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a year and a half already.
Its simplicity and versatility are what I prefer at home, and its metal chassis ... (super resistant!)
What I like least is the amp simulation is not realistic enough for my taste (it remains acceptable for small models) and the fact that the chain of effects is imposed (compression first and then overdrive and modulations ... and finished the obligatory reverb) ... It prevents more combinations to try wacky, but the chain remains consistent and the sound that comes out is clean!
value for money is impeccable! Zoom proves it more and more, they make multi effects robust, sufficiently realistic and comprehensive and extremely attractive prices!
With experience, and the same budget, I would do without hesitation that choice! You leave, if you have the budget allows, it is true that the Zoom G9.2 or digitech GNX of 3000 are incomparable ... but for the price the GFX 3 dechire all!
