USE

At first it is not simple to understand! the best is to do everything gradually with the instructions on the knees,
The manual describes lgremment too !! with all tables, patch etc ...
but after when you have a little touch has all its become intuitive.
After one week I could edit my sounds using the drum machine sampler's (6 seconds maximum recording) and make my own presets.

SOUND QUALITY

-The Effects a good sound for the digital

I have used it with a marshall mg 100dfx and Valvestate marshall 10w connected to them they give me 2 trrible distortions and effects stro exlent !!!!
while the effects are pretty well russia and there are some that I do not often use but are nice when even ^^

-the acoustic simulation is really rat !!

NOTICE GLOBAL

I have used it for 1 month and I love! it allows me to do a little something prs sound I'm looking for what I like most is the distortions that can be done: the lightest to the most destructive! !!dropoff window (Perfect ^^) but everything chorus, flanger, delay, reverb, wah, etc ... is also very well done !!

-what I like least is the acoustic simulator that makes really bad !!

-I find it quite versatile even if it is rather ax on Mtal sounds

-that a good report qualitprix I would do probably.

I got this unit at Sam Ash Music in Queens, N.Y. and paid $199.00. I bought it because it produced everything I was looking for in a multi-effects unit.

Great effects and the expression pedal is built in. One thing I look for in a multi-effects unit is the distortion. This unit gives me any kind I want and it has enough drive to satisfy me anytime. It even drives nicely with single coil pickups!!

Its a little heavy but thats what you get from metal construction. Whats not to like?

The unit is all heavy duty construction. Metal cabinet feels solid and not like there are parts rattling around in there. Fit and finish is good looking. Even the pedal is made of metal. If it was a Pontiac, I'd drive the thing to work and feed it high-test.

I am happy I got this unit. Lots of quality for the price and the effects do what I want them too without argument.

got it from the local music store. they had it for $495 au i got them down to $415 with p/s and 20 ft guitar lead. got it baceuse i didnt have the money for 10+ stomp box's and wanted more than the 505 type pedals that go for $100. tried the digitec and korg pedals in same price range but didnt like the patch editing on them.

i love the fact that you can use the three patch selection bottons for just that or put the pedal in manual mode and they each turn on the dist, mod and rev for the selected patch so you can have you overdrive on and then add phaser ect. also the wah is the best digital one i have ever used. and the pedal is a preamp so it can run my guitar through bigger keyboard amps and the like not just my like guitar amp

what i dont like ???? not much. i had to re-glue the rubber grip to the expression pedal. would be better if they added on more button for a boost. i pretty much love this pedal

solid metal construction will take a beating. not sure about the foot buttons but the plastic seems ok but we will wait and see. expression pedal is solid. the paint on the body does chip easily but black permantant pen fixed that. over all looks like it will out live my amp or guitar.

overall rocking multi fx of the money heaps of good dist and over drive. the cabinet and reverb/delay sound good and the modualtion fx(phase, flange, slow attack and many many more) are all kick ass. i only realy ever need to add my fx collection is a boost and the boogie preamp pedal because no way will i ever have the money for a boogie amp.

It includes Variable Architecture Modelling System(VAMS) which is designed to enable the user to create exactly the sound they want, 33 distortion types, 120 ready-to-use patches which can be freely modified, Auto-Repeat Real-time Modulation (ARRM)which lets you create totally novel sounds, Integrated drum machine and a 6-second sampling feature.
The GFX-5's combination of knobs and pedals provides an intuitive interface which means a smooth operation in developing your own sounds and settings in your bedroom or for the stage.
It also can run on four AA batteries for up to 10 hours or the alternative of an AC adapter.

Personally, the downside of the GFX-5 is the short sampling time which I feel, even though easy to use, is not long enough for a more complex riff or sample you're trying to record(for example, some extreme or progressive metal!)

The easily portable unit comprises of an LCD screen and combination of a solid metal chassy and strong plastic buttons and knobs. It is well designed for resistance and should ensure a long lasting life.

Exceptional multi-effects processor. I previously used the Zoom 707 and GFX-8. This unit seems to be a combination of both, in one. Extensive effects functions, easy to manipulate patchs and enhancements. I especially enjoy the drum machine, which enables a virtual rehearsal, covering a wide range of musical tastes.

Well designed for use on stage or in home studio. Easily crafted patch manipulation make changes a snap. This unit has all the things I've been looking for, with the exception of a lead vocal.

Very few so far. Some of the console buttons are a bit small, making changes on the fly a challenge.

Sturdy metal construction and simplified operation.

All-in-all, an extremely well designed and built multi-effects/modeling tool for any guitar play, beginner to veteran stage performer.

I bought this effect at a local store, Music Collection. It cost 9500 Thai baht which probably cost around 199 bucks.

Almost every single thing in this machine. I love the drive functions, the energize knob (it kills!), all the effects, etc. The modulation effects are not too much, so it is very easy to find what u r looking for.

The sampling function and the D gate fucntion. But its ok.....isn't it.

Metal! Strong and reliable.....ready for any thing...

This is a great multi-fx console, worth the money...great sounds, great function and great consturction...

SOUND QUALITY

UTILIZATION

Effects effective in my opinion. adapted? ca dpend his style that is sought. I also think it is metal and specially no company but the sound is compltement redesign and I got everything I wanted, almost.

sounds clear and warm with chorus for example, can be excellent and warm enough for a transistor

I use it on one of gh100L Lanney (a 100w lamp) and it is complmentaire with the sound of this amp, so I ss trs happy!

Yes, I would do this choice!

- Well, the pdalier is especially useful for guitar rock metal.
- The possibilities of connections are:
- Two output ports right / left.
- A large jack headphone port.
- One input, Obviously!

- This pdalier for the price range is fairly simple but sufficient for those who are not too demanding.

UTILIZATION

- The grip seems to Premire trs simple. - Not having a great exprience of pdalier trs, I could not make comparisons with others. But for the price range is honnte trs.
- You have a small wallet! Take it without hsit!

The effects are effective and of good quality for the numrique.
I use a Fender transistor amp and all lamp FM212R Sovtek MIG-50.
The distos are many, but not be appropriate forcment everyone (I buy a personal distortion pedals in part). It gnre quite a few blows.

Otherwise, you can make a good use for trs effects of boost, compression, modulation, reverb, sampler, drum pattern. For the price, it's okay trs.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 8months now, we apprciera the many opportunities it offers.
He did not blush before a Boss ME-50, I personally find suprieur. This is the direct descendant of the GFX-8, which is comparable to the Boss GT-6.
It's good stuff, and remind that has nothing to do with products that have made the wrong reputable brand (505 Zoom & co).

The effects are quite correct and complete enough to use very very large. The amp models are significant although they quickly make its vagueness, when used to excess. There are a lot of modulations, some a little gadget, but it still lacks a suitable rotary.
The distortion / drive / etc are a bit blurry, not very well defined but there are still some interesting.
I can not find the presets very interesting.
The drum is quite poor and useless. The tuner is, cons, good, but sometimes a little cumbersome to use.
For cons, I did not understand the utility of the simulation of acoustic guitar, for me, when I want an acoustic guitar sound, then I pull out my Spanish guitar and I play for bodybuilders.
But overall it's still correct.

OVERALL OPINION

I made a home studio use, before they can offer me the better equipment. I must admit that what attracted me most was the report options / prices, I needed something rich in possibilities for customization at an affordable price, so I chose Zoom, not Boss or otherwise, because after, it seems to me that if you search its really a very special (yes, some, many even like to copy a star by buying the same stuff it) you have to buy hardware independent. I have not compared with other multi-effects so I do not really know where this one is.
With experience, I would not make the same choice, this pedal is great for troubleshooting, allows for sounds really interesting and varied, but after the purchase of specialized pedals and quite distinct it seems obvious that if we seeking some consistency, we must leave the bank.
