MGR/Floyd Snow
« Zoom GFX-5 Guitar Modeling »
Published on 04/06/04 at 15:00Exceptional multi-effects processor. I previously used the Zoom 707 and GFX-8. This unit seems to be a combination of both, in one. Extensive effects functions, easy to manipulate patchs and enhancements. I especially enjoy the drum machine, which enables a virtual rehearsal, covering a wide range of musical tastes.
Well designed for use on stage or in home studio. Easily crafted patch manipulation make changes a snap. This unit has all the things I've been looking for, with the exception of a lead vocal.
Very few so far. Some of the console buttons are a bit small, making changes on the fly a challenge.
Sturdy metal construction and simplified operation.
All-in-all, an extremely well designed and built multi-effects/modeling tool for any guitar play, beginner to veteran stage performer.
