I do not return the dj CHARACTERISTICS Retailer in other reviews.
UTILIZATION
- The shipping program seems pretty complex to beginners, but with a little practice it can be done quickly and then deveint a breeze to change the variety of parameters on offer.
- If we enter fully into the possibilities of GFX8 (it took to "paw" all dj doc and have gained a good exprience on this hardware), we can observe that it is trs trs flexible and powerful:
You can choose the parameters of the effects that will be assigned either by the pedals and the switch "Control".
It is possible to move the rack "manual" mode without stooping, and thus pass configurations "pedals":
"DRIVE => EQ => ZNR => Modules => REVERB / ECHO" and each switch starts up or stop the function of the selected effect pedals.
Ide a wealthy from the ZOOM GFX8 is the possibility to use external distortion (in addition to all those dj proposed) by external ports send / return. For me, finding the distortions rack enough saturated my taste for certain types of music, I got an "Uber Metal 'distortion in external ... and capable ...!!
Another strong point about the use of this scne: the effect "seamless", it allows the effect of echo Dfine on a patch, ended on the next patch when it changes: soon the dsagrment to hear the sound cuts when changing program, and thus stopping the brutal efffet ... transitions between patches are softer.
SOUND QUALITY
The quality of standard effects, chorus / delay / echo / etc ... , Is the appointment (as felt more account by using the headphone jack .. still need a good headset).
The "pitch shifter" provided certain effects is not "top" (xagre deformation of the original sound)
Some effects do not serve, I have not understood how they could serve, except to play the Pink Floyd style of the 70 ... "Ummaguma" or other ..
OVERALL OPINION
Solid Rack (all mtal) and reliable (I have over 5 years and no dj problem, even minimal)
The GFX8 Has Designed for scne well. (For my part, at a concert, I did two times lower than the rack to put the fingers: a time to turn the deuxime for dye)
The GFX8 is a good "rack complment" because sometimes it could be used only to find the limits.
For my part, I use it in complment of external pedals (mtal Distortion, Compressor, qualiseur), and it gives me any satisfaction.
