Some days ago Schecter posted a picture of what looked like a 9-string guitar, yesterday it introduced the new Hellraiser C-9 at NAMM 2014.
Schecter thus joins the 9-string guitar club with a Special Edition Hellraiser C-9 whose full specs are:
- Mahogany body with quilted maple arched top
- Bolt-on 3-piece, thin C-shaped maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods
- Rosewood fretboard with abalone gothic cross inlays and 24 X-Jumbo frets, 20” (508mm) radius
- Scale: 28” (711mm)
- Abalone with BLK/WHT/BLK multi-ply binding
- Graphite nut
- Nut Width: 2.5” (63.5mm)
- 2-Way Adjustable Rod with 5/32” (4mm) Allen Nut
- EMG 909 pickups
- Volume/Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch controls
- Hipshot hardtail (.125) bridge with string thru body
- Schecter locking tuners
- 9-volt Clip-in Battery Compartment
- Black chrome hardware
- Right Handed
- Made in South Korea
