For years I rvais giving me a drumkit, but given the lack of space and my desire to avoid bursting the eardrums of everyone I opted for a drumkit Electronic: the Roland TD9-KX (bought in May 2008)
The models I knew DJ and TD6 TD6-KW-KX (I tried them in store)
So in my mind I compare myself with these limits Fawn 2 MODELS. I also tried real drums. I prcise that I am a little amateur discovering the drumkit.
To return the TD9-KX, TD9 module much smaller than the former. It is very easy to use. a USB is finally implanted, even if it is limited by the use of the WAV (cl prvoir a big if you're having fun with his own pieces - play it - because the WAV format takes a lot of memory). The usual headphone jack is Submitted. The pieces of music Intgr are excellent (even me after a mtalleux m'clate I play jazz / blues and other styles ^ ^) and Varis. We can eliminate the different instruments (drums / guitar / instruments complmentaires)
The module possde the output / input is needed can be added lments supplmentaires 2, two sheets (MIDI OUT / IN).
There is a mtronome, a scope (sync / not sync? ^ ^). CRER can own drum kits, register on the module and copy everything on the USB key. The number of available sounds is great trs.
Each cymbal possde 2 sensors for 2 DIFFERENT sounds or 3 for the cymbal CY12R / C (Rimshot / head / bell)
The "skin" of cash / volumes are really enjoyable and rpondent property - rglage possible to the sensitivity of the Tone rsonance.
Here is my opinion on the sounds of lments drumkit:
Snare: ok even if at times a sound "electronic"
Bass drum: good sound
Cymbals - Crash / Splash: excellent sound
Cymbals - Ride: trs good sound
Cymbals - Chinese: trs good sound
Charleston many possible settings with excellent
Toms: I feel like its an "electronic" - I think I still need to refine his rglages for a really convincing
Overall, I'm really happy with the sound that sounds "real" (versus a true drumkit), especially the cymbals, even if at times seems a sound "electronic".
The packaging is really good Submitted each element of the drumkit compartment, all feel the quality workmanship. The installation of the unit is very easy. We can rgler the position of each cymbal as desired.
Transport the remains to see how everything easily?? I will have a gimmick.
Even if it is true that much smaller drumkit, even when it takes the place (1m10 wide / 90cm deep / 120cm high)
His real only complaint would be its price: in 1864, but given the good quality and I wanted to get the drumkit finally we must make sacrifices
A small rsumbr /> the +: the sounds (especially the cymbals), trs TD9 module complete and easy to use, the quality of the matrial, the USB plug, size, input es / O, music intgres, etc..
the -: some sounds "electronic" (especially the toms), price, no support for MP3
I think I have said all, for me it will be a 9 / 10.
