Used for more than 6 months.
The models with dj essay Previous (WX7 & 11), and not convinced of the usability and fragility of the EWI, I t + sduit the great ease to address this controller. Notament level cls octaves, which are admittedly much more ergonomic than the other models. But Alas, this is not the same when Prou, because the sensitivity of the keys is such that it is difficult to avoid the dcrochages.
We can remdier a bit with an appropriate choice of virtual synths, and presets. To be avoided: everything keyboard (piano, organ, etc. ....)!!!
We should not kid ourselves, it's not for nothing that Mr. Brecker had a pass 1 / 2 years to work hard for his EWI matriser!
It is the same for the WX, they must Whereas something like "other instruments" and not like a toy that will dominate After a few hours on it, and very profitable s personal knowledge quickly in wind instruments (Flute, Sax, Clarinet ...).
Too bad Yamaha has stopped producing them, even when these are excellent tools for anyone who wants to bother to work. And open the door of infinite possibilities sound, especially if you're like me, a big keyboard sucks!
