Dual stereo analog resonant filter + envelope Attack / Release

UTILIZATION

Simple operation, everything is facade, clear and intuitive. Some reactions are not necessarily easy to predict, the feedback filter very easely, and it is aillor what makes it interesting from another!
The manual is interesting reading as with any machine to understand a little more precisely what is fact, but we can manage easily.

SOUND QUALITY

Excellent sound, the sound can be sculpted in fat, and low distortion, as well as in the fine and sounds quieter and chiseled.
The cutoff frequency of each filter can modulate that of the other (FM).
The resonance of each filter (here called feedback) can be adjusted by positive as negative. In negative gives low harmonics ideal for ultra efficient distort a bass, a kick or other (amateur kick hardcore welcome ^ ^) in the positive resonance to a more conventional, it also comes into autoocillation when put to the max. Mix with the parameter filters can also be very cool large feedback (be careful even when it can quickly go beyond what we would like).
In short, big sound, it rocks!

OVERALL OPINION

I have two years or so and I let him go, it's a small bomb. Highly complementary with other kind of filter Sherman Filterbank, as it is very different from each other, we get at all the same kind of effects with one or the other.
The value for money is awesome, I doubt you could do better for the same price, it is very effective, and it was a real big sound of analog filter, it seems alive, and it's really satisfying to use whatever the use made of his or style.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is very large (in my humble opinion)
the possibilities of modulation are surprising: each filter can modulate the other, positive or negative phase.
I tried to go through various sources (sounds perceived in the S950, synth, audio tracks), the response of the filter can change dramatically depending on the source, which suggests many hours of experimentation.
I love the reaction of the envelope, and the resonance operation particular: "0" position is at the center, when you turn the knob to the right, it was a classic behavior of resonance, to the left we enter a kind of self-oscillation that generates infrabass monstrous.
on the other hand, I would have liked a master volume on the machine, given the noise levels that can generate.

OVERALL OPINION

I received this morning, so here I deliver my first impressions.
I think that this filter will please users who want a tool of improvisation and experimental noise, but please do not necessarily looking for a musician who sounds more "classical" (that saturates quickly and that's a lot noise).
by infrabass against the lover will be filled by the resonance of the filter that fits easily into self-oscillation and can produce sounds really huge (compress / limit recommended output: on extreme settings, the console is over 6 dB with the gain to zero and the pad (-30dB) engaged)

the quality / price is more than adequate for me (198 € chez Thomann), I wanted a sherman but I did not especially ways to € 750 in a filter. in view of the demos sherman, we are in the same kind of tool. perhaps someone who has tried both could clarify this point.
I bought this filter "blind", trusting to the reputation of jomox and I'm pretty impressed with its sounds.
I see no equivalent in other manufacturers, so the choice I would do without hesitation, for cons, I will have a fast enough to compress / limit to put behind my monitors to preserve ...
10/10 I do not because I do not think it pleases everybody, given the extreme sound it generates.

UTILIZATION

This little tool is intuitive trs and that is what we recommend the manual. The handling is quick when you're used to analog filters, available potentiomtres is enjoyable, the box is small but is doing well plutt. The case could be lgrement inclined to make use even more enjoyable.

I was looking for a deuxime analog filter that can be grafted into my set including a Sherman ddj. I put a lot of time choosing among the range of new analog drumfilters Reduces price, but when I heard the M-Resonator DMOS, I stopped my research. And I was right!

OVERALL OPINION

I reu few days ago and I spend my time on it. IDAL is really the tool for those who love the sounds aggressive and non-standard and are not afraid to express. What made me choose this filter are the unique opportunities it offers as ngatif feedback and management of the two rinjection drumfilters towards each other. Obviously, it is not as complete as the Sherman and therefore less versatile. But what he does, he does it perfectly and with its really powerful. The price of this tool is extremely attractive, if I had the choice again, I would do without hsiter.

UTILIZATION

So the nothing simpler. It was an envelope grate. Then two filters.
For me all was not mean anything. I test, I tamper with. Nothing could be easier.
Moreover, even the manual dictates to test a little while.

Everything has to say it's a very intuitive machine. A real breath of fresh air.

SOUND QUALITY

Personally I use a little for anything and everything.
But I noticed it is very effective in the rhythmic and bass.
Rson is a filter. I use it mainly to deepen the bass and the rhythmic software for inflating sub.
I also use To create sounds out of nowhere by bringing in (by a table) my toys circuit bender.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 month.
Its usefulness is super efficient and above all very intuitive.
I took a head shot. I can not compare it I know nothing that is the same thing. But for 100 euros on a site I am very satisfied enchre. And even knowing the beast for 200 euros, if I had no choice, I will take it.

I prviens even when it is very special as a filter, I highly recommend trying it before. But for those who want the sub to the big roaring bass is almost closed eyes, you can buy.
